And Margarito walked through every one. The point is that when Tony keeps coming forward, Manny should do the same.

What do you mean?? De La Hoya is 5'10 and Pac had no problems landing flush on him with the size differential there (which in comparison to Margarito is just 1 inch). Margarito walks straight forward towards you and willingly gets hit. How is Pacquiao NOT going to land with ease??

The part you bolded was not me using that as proof of Manny being able to fight backwards, rather just elaborating on a seperate point that guy had made.

I agree that is not fighting backwards but I still don't see why people say he can't do it. Now if someone made the arguement that they have never seen him do so, that is one thing, but unless he has tried and looked terrible, then I think that is a bit unfair to say regarding Manny and his abilities in the ring.

That's a good ? I believe that Manny will not know what to do. I believe he will begin to trade with Tony and be at a disadvantage. When was the last fight that Manny was pressed during the whole bout?

As for the bold I stand corrected. For the underlined I can see that side of the coin.

Thats what initiallly got me pumped for this fight, but after the catchweight crap and watching some of margos most recent fights I knew this would be a man slaughter in favor of pac, Margo is a slow, plodding, featherfisted zombie.

Honestly he might not be able to fight good going backwards. I doubt we will ever find out though, unless he fights someone like Sergio Martinez.

Hopefully not back to the ropes like a ****** ala Cotto..

Roach will have him sorted out anyway with a good plan and back up plans if Margarito keeps coming forward. Hopefully we see a war and a competitive fight

Got some reservations though.. not to sure what Margs has left.. i mean he took career ending punishment vs Cotto and Mosley not even counting the damage he has took in his long career previous to those fights.

then the next day, the *****s will cry that PAC was running while PAC fans will talk about the sport being about 'hit and not get hit'

then dominicano soy will worship PAC for being a defensive whiz

Margarito always fights tall, DLH fought bending down to Mannys height.
