That's what I've been thinking about too!!I don't think Manny packs Mosley's type of power & Margarito's pressure is coming from high to low, this fight will be closer than most people seem to think,I'm feeling an upset in the works!!
What will Manny do When he doesnt hurt Margo and Tony Keeps moving forward??

Pacquiao can fight going backwards, as where Cotto couldn't...

Adding Pacquiao's overall movement and punch selection and Margarito's face 1st defense, one can assume he'll walk through those punches like nothing, but at the same time people are forgetting the punishment he took in both Cotto and Mosley fights, also adding the level of speed Pacquiao's bringing to this fight...2nd to none in comparison to what Margarito's ever faced.
Just smells like a load of bad news for Margarito. I think people expect the Margarito who fought Cotto to come out (depending how you look at that win) miraculously and walk Pac down similar to Cotto. But the main thing that sticks out to me with that comparison...Miguel Cotto is NOT Manny Pacquiao.Comment

Manny doesnt have the power mosley have, Manny is not strong enough to hold Margarito. Margo will just lean his heavier body on Pacquiao.
Clottey didnt threw a punch in the fightComment

All these threads make me laugh, people always make them before Floyd and Pac fights. When Pac dominates Margarito en route to another victory these people will act like they said Manny would dominate all along...Comment

Honestly man I'm gonna stick my neck out and say this will be a fight in which Manny proves his punching power is on par with Shane Mosley.
I do agree he is no where near as physically strong as Shane and also Manny can't clinch for **** (or at least has never show the ability to do so in a fight) so I can't see him using that as a way to disrupt Margarito's rhytm.Comment

To bold since when? Moving side to side and taking a step back to load up on your incoming oppponent early in the fight is not fighting going backwards.Pacquiao can fight going backwards, as where Cotto couldn't...

I don't think Pacquiao has 1 punch power to KO Margarito, but I think his punches have more than enough power to cause damage throughout the course of a fight, even for Margarito. I also don't think Pac's going to let Margarito lay him on the ropes while Pac tries countering like how Cotto was trying to do. Before Marg can even attempt to pose his size on Pacquiao he'll be moving out of the way and landing 3-4 punch combos in the process. Not sure Marg's gonna withstand that for 12 rounds.Comment

Manny doesn't have to hold. And his power is good enough. Plus, he's faster and far more active. He'll land more at a higher rate. That's power. Besides, he doesn't have to stop him. He can easily outpoint him doing that.Comment
