Honestly, what people fail to realize is not only does Margarito keep coming forward, he is one of the best in boxing when it comes to distinguishing between a feight and an actually punch. Not only that, if there is one thing Margarito can do exceptionally well....that is cut off the ring.

I know Martinez was not the same fighter he was then as he is now, but his foot speed was on par, if not better back then, when he fought Margarito. As fast as Sergio was, he couldn't get away from Margarito....making this something interesting to look for in this fight.

Also, outta curiousity, has anyone ever seen a fighter turn Margarito with ease? Not saying it hasn't happened, but I've never seen it.

he'll throw about 10punches a round, land accurately, then strategically move away...it will be a brilliant defensive adjustment and he'll make it look easy

then the next day, the *****s will cry that PAC was running while PAC fans will talk about the sport being about 'hit and not get hit'

then dominicano soy will worship PAC for being a defensive whiz

It'll be similar like the Morales vs Pac first bout, except Margarito doesn't have the punching speed nor the skills of Morales. But he's gonna come at Manny just like Morales did.

I can see Marg walkin' through Manny's fire and I'm quite sure deep down, Roach can see this as well...man look, thats what Marg is known for....Marg's callin card is his chin....I would think Roach will have his lil warrior well prepared for WHATEVER.....if NOT, Sunday the 14th will be a day to be here on the forum....oh man

I myself don't think the true gameplan of Roach/Pacquiao is to go for the knockout from the get-go. Oh, Roach talks like that's the plan...and this talk of an 8th round KO plays to the real goal. I think the Pac/Roach plan is to use good footwork and boxing, with the occassional odd angle punch.

Margarito will expect a charging Manny, and instead will get a Yoda, ala Episode II.

IF Roach and Pac see a dent (had to change the wording) in the armor of Margarito they will probe the possibility of the knockout, but I still don't see them aggressively going after it.

It could happen, but I don't think that's priority...instead, the priority is to chop down the big tree, or at least chip away at it and if the fall comes it comes.

All this ko talk by roach is an attempt to stroke Margarito's ego and have him be more aggressive towards Pacquiao than usual. This type of aggression can only work into Pacquiao's favor.

He'll do what Mosley did until he scores the TKO. The real question is, can Margarito walk through punches again like he used to?

Keep punching, what do you think?

So now people think Pacquiao won't be able to handle it if Margarito walks through his punches? Please.
