He would have beat Darius easily, but there was always that robbed in Korea thing back in 1988 in Seoul for Roy back then.

Nunn woulda been the fight for sure.
I agree. but it didnt happened.

Floyd would have schooled Marg too but he's a little reluctant. It doesnt count if it didnt happened.

or if he had a better promoter in his prime , he could have won a paper belt like david haye.
yeah, maybe with a bit of luck and a fair win he could have achieved as much as haye, sadly he ate his way out of contention.

no one really overrates him anymore.

no real need to talk about roy anymore.

i just find it funny that guys are so willing to call juan manuel marquez and joe calzaghe level fighters ATG but try so so hard to disect roy jones' resume.

roy jones' might not have the best resume but it's not **** like other people pretend it is.

Roy Jones has an incredible resume. These guys just aren't familiar with the names and have heard the same stories rehashed so they just repeat them to no end.

He didn't. They wanted the fight in Germany, and Jones wasn't ****** enough to take it. No ducking involved there. Dariusz would have been a tough fight at the time, but I don't think Roy ducked him what so ever. They should have fought on neutral soil. Regardless, Roy would have easily outpointed him, or even possibly stopped Dariusz, so it's really a moot point.

Agreed. I think Dariusz would've been tough as well, particularly in 1997-1999. But Jones was an animal back then. Furthermore, it's ludicrous to think the man considered the world's best fighter should fight on someone else's terms. That's just not ducking where I'm from but what do I know?
