Do some research and see for yourself. Nunn was Roy's mandatory contender. Roy didn't like the money split and declined to fight him. Nunn went to Germany and fought in a "vacant WBC light heavyweight title" fight. The WBC didn't give Rocchigianni the title, and he sued them and won. If Rocchigianni didn't need the money and settle for less, the WBC would have gone out of business. Please feel free to check all of this.

you think haye is great and he's garbage.

tua is mediocre and haye ain't even as good as him.
Who are you kidding? Tua is top 25 ATG.

I think Roy Jones Jr. of the 1990's was doing something very similar to what Wladimir is doing now at HW. Beating contenders with ease, and making them look ordinary. He's got some solid names under his belt throughout the 1990's as well. And he was easily the #1 P4P fighter in the world after beating Ruiz in 2003. Yet, I get the impression that a lot of fans (particularly European fans) would still give him grief. Sometimes, no matter how good you are, you're still going to catch flack.

          you have no point.

during his prime he was considered the best fighter in the world.

          that's all that matters.

what you little kids think about him now don't mean ****.

especially when you weren't watching boxing back then.

I remember quite well. I was an avid boxing fan then. None of what you said has anything to do with Jones ducking him.

Nunn woulda been the fight for sure.

Not fighting Darius Mckalawski and Nigel Benn will always be factored in by Roy's critics.

maybe if we could put him in a delorean and take him to a time when heavyweights were only 5'10-6'2 he could have won a real title.

or if he had a better promoter in his prime , he could have won a paper belt like david haye.
