Floyd Mayweather Never Had Intentions Of Fighting PAC

In my honest opinion, PAC was never in his plans when he decided to come back

i truly believe that Floyd felt Hatton was going to beat PAC...he came back during the buildup of that fight...there were even reports of him visiting the UK and mentioning a rematch

when PAC blew Hatton out of the water, the public's demands for a PAC-PBF fight became enormous...everyone was buzzing at the thought

when PAC destroyed Cotto, Floyd had to think fast to stall and he lucked out

Arum was so intent on holding a fight in Texas for his pal Jerry Jones and Floyd's reluctance to fight outside of Vegas quickly squashed any kind of re-negotiations

and now, when PAC has accepted the terms, Floyd has run out of excuses...thats why he decided to go on vacation

the only thing that will happen now is for PAC-Tony to be a big success to give Floyd that last out

after November, PAC will look back and think 'damn, in two fights i did over 2mil ppv buys AND i put OVER 100K people in a stadium'

50-50 will sound like a generous offer to give to Floyd...at which Floyd will ask for 60 or over

the final nail in the coffin...no fight

Floyd is as horrible as Nonito Donaire not wanting to fight Fernando Montiel

In all seriousness....Pacquiao should retire after the Margarito fight. Nothing left for him to do. If he sticks around any longer he might gather another L

As much as he's begging for a Hozumi fight? For a Mares fight? For a Perez fight?

Riiiiiight....while he's "begging" for a fight. Montiel is going to the champions backyard and KO'ing him, Fighting your next "great hope" Ciso Morales who got KTFO in one round and just KOd concepcion...He would've fought Eric Morel but he clearly ducked him.

So while Montiel is fighting P4P top opposition....Donaire is fighting bums.....

You've obviously not checked the events during the first half of negotiations back in '09.

And for the record, Manny never accepted random drug testing.

He claims he accepted full testing. Not random.

It'll look bad on him (Pac) if Margarito were to beat him.

Lets cut the bullshit once and for all.

Neither one of them want any part of Anselmo Moreno.

                  Basically.

And the way he decapitated Hatton with Floyd Sr. in his corner squashed any chance it would happen. The Cotto fight was the final nail in the coffin if there were any second thoughts.

                  Doesn't seem that way...

Arum says Donaire-Montiel set for HBO, early in 2011

"We've got two bouts deals in place with Nonito and Fernando," Arum said by phone from his Las Vegas office Wednesday afternoon. "If both win their next bouts, then they will fight each other in the first quarter of next year on HBO."
