True, no sane of mind person could criticise Pac for destroying people better than anyone ever did, or could do. If Pac gets discredited for doing what other people cant do, well Pac better hang his gloves up now. No body could knock any version of Hatton out in 2 rounds and nobody could beat Cotto like Pac did then or now.

But Pac detractors ie *****s, have to get defensive, otherwise all the praise for Pac you would jusst have to give Pac the title of greatest fighter who ever lived already, and the critics cant allow that to happen.

They have to put up obstacles and imaginery barriers to prevent Pac being recognised as the best ever, and if that means nit picking about catchweights and Pacs opponents werent great when Pac beat them, well so be it, is their way of thinking and how they see it.

Indeed, Cotto himself said he was at his best shape. Cotto looked good as he ever done, he put up a fight but eventually the damage he was taking started to take its toll. The fact of the matter is, to put it simply, everytime Cotto did something good, he landed one good shot. Everytime Pac did something good, he landed 2-3 shots.

No shame in Cotto losing, I said it right after that fight, Mayweather would never fight Pac until he goes down a level or 2 because everyone and I mean everyone was surprised at how convincingly Pac won. A rematch would be pointless but at this stage of Cotto's career, he needs to think about the £££

Exactly, Everytime Cotto upped his level he find Pac 3 above that level.. He tried but the fight wasnt competitive at all, I knew Pac would win but the way he won was more impressive than i would ever imagine.. He looked Great in that fight.

A win is a win. JMM put Pac thru hell but Mayweather did him dirty blah blah.. I gave Pac his due for beating Cotto, the Hatton and Hoya wins were overrated. Then he fights the giy that lost to the guy he just fought.. I know Pac would fight fan faves but TR isnt having it. Thus Clottey and Margs.. Face facts fellaz

i'm not a *****, but that argument is invalid. styles make fights. just because manny is more likely to KO quick doesn't mean he is better than a fighter who puts on a technical clinic. you can look through your rose-tinted glasses all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that a) mayweather fought an undefeated, super-confident hatton b) pacquiao fought damaged goods (hatton was so derranged after his loss that he hired mayweather's father). i still think pacquiao fought a great fight, as (you pointed out) no-one couldve probally k'od hatton so early at 140 that night.

Cotto actually did decent first 2 rounds when he boxed, he's so use to being the aggressor and the one cutting off the ring - but it didn't work. Pac was simply too fast and after getting knocked down, his legs were gone and not to mention the shattered confidence level from it and also from Margarito. Pac deserves full credit for the win though, I can't see how Cotto would win even Pre-Margarito version - Pac's ability to withstand shots from a WW hard hitter is pretty spectacular.

the reason cotto was decent in the first 2 rounds because pacquaio was testing the water against cotto power and give cotto a false sense of being successful. You saw after the first round round, that pacquaio took that stiff jab away from cotto and tricked cotto into getting into an early war.

True that's why after Cotto got hurt he started being wild and trying to hurt Pac back, little did he know Pac could hurt him real bad.

Styles makes fights, but because no body could knock hatton out in 2 rounds how can Pac be criticised for it, and believe me, so people have the nerve to.
