The amount of hate for Pac is ridiculous on this thread. But I'll say this, I agree with this article. Pac could have fought Bradley, Alexander, Maidana, or any other top guy at 140 and he still could've packed Cowboys Stadium. Before Pac started training for Margacheato he weighed 150-151 lbs. so I don't believe that shet when Roach says that, "he has to skip meals to make 140." If Pac has to eat three extra courses a day just to make 147 then how the hell can't he make 140?

Arum keeps on mentioning that Bradley, Alexander, and Paul Williams aren't money makers but what the hell do you call Clottey?

And for people mentioning Pac vs. Khan, get the flying **** outta here. They're both trained by Roach and Khan isn't going to leave Roach for somebody else to just fight Pac.

The haters are always going to be discrediting Pac for his wins just like the *******s are doing for Floyd. If Manny fought Mosley and destroyed him, the haters would say that Mosley was old and shot and Margs was just tailored made for Mosley.

The only difference between Mosley vs Mayweather and Mosley vs Margarito was Mosley kept landing his huge overhand punches on Margarito vs Shane not being able to land another one on Floyd.

If he would have landed 1 or 2 more, then he would have knocked Floyd the Fvkk out. Mayweather is good at clinching and surving while hurt, whereas Margarito's fight fire with fire mentality when hurt, is about the worse thing you can do against someone like Shane.

Yeah Margarito got beat bad by Shane, but that is more of a testiment to how good of a puncher Shane is at 147, and Margarito's style being tailor made for that type of fighter.

Like Shane said, not everyone can fight Margarito like that and it takes a special fighter to beat him. Neither Khan, Maidana, Ortiz, Bradley or Alexander have the power to back Margarito up, or outmuscle him with clinches etc. like Shane was able to do.

I know man. The worse thing you can do is stay on your back foot and try to outbox Tony. Martinez, while he was green, was way faster than any of those guys and he couldn't get away from Margarito.

It's as simple as this:
1. None of those guys have the physical strength to tie up Margarito and push him around.

2. None of those guys have the power to back up Margarito as well. People fail to forget just how powerful of a puncher Shane is at WW.


So what that means is Tony will be coming forward for 12 rounds, and we see what happens when you allow Tony to fight that type of fight.

The whole point of that was to show that Mosley has tremedous punching power at WW. Do you honestly think Floyd would have survived 2-3 more of those shots from Shane? Margarito was able to survive 8 plus before crumbling. So to use that fight as a reason as to why Margarito is garbage is flat out ridiculous.

wasn't manny the favorite for all those fights except the oscar fight?who really thought hatton was goona win? cotto fight was a much closer fight in peoples mind but manny was still the favorite to win.they were not considered shot after they fought manny they were considered shot before they fought manny,go look at all the threads before and after cotto fought clottey to see how people spoke about miguel most people thought his carrer was over and that he was a shadow of himself and that he never recovered form the margarito fight and only hatton fans didn't think that hatton career was over and thats only because of the paulie fight where paulie looked like **** hatton didn't look great

You're right about Oscar and I was wrong in posting his name for Pac's discredited wins. I'll never give Pac credit for beating Oscar since he was just a shell of his former self, but most of the Pac haters on this board said that Oscar would destroy Pac back in 2008.

When Pac was about to fight Hatton, the haters were out in full force saying that Hatton was stronger, bigger, and would destroy Manny's body. Pac then destroys Hatton in 2 and all the haters say that Hatton was cracked by Floyd. People forget that Hatton beat Malignaggi from pillar to post before he fought Pac.

Before Pac fought Cotto, the haters here said that Cotto would thrash Manny because Cotto would be bigger and stronger. After the fight, they said that Cotto was shot and war torn. It doesn't matter if Cotto was 100%, Pac would always beat him based on his style.
