That could have been the plan. HBO was ready to hype Mosley vs Manny fight if Floyd can't fight. HBO made it sound that Mosley beat Mora so convincingly and that too made me think that their intentions were to get Mosley to fight the winner of Manny vs Margo.

Margarito absolutely, positively murders ANY 140lber on the face of the planet today.

he would be the favourite yes, but thats not the point. the point is they would be a real test, something his last couple of oponents have not been. bradley presents a threat, does that mean u should say bradley would beat pac? no, but it does mean pac should get critisized for taking on a fighter who poses no threat to him at all in margarito instead.

it has nothing to do with hating pac, it has to do with loving boxing. if u love boxing u want the best to fight the best, not to cherry pick their way up and down divisions picking up paper titles against the easiest possible oponents.

Pac could have fought Bradley, Alexander, Maidana, or any other top guy at 140 and he still could've packed Cowboys Stadium. Before Pac started training for Margacheato he weighed 150-151 lbs. so I don't believe that shet when Roach says that, "he has to skip meals to make 140." If Pac has to eat three extra courses a day just to make 147 then how the hell can't he make 140?

The only difference between Mosley vs Mayweather and Mosley vs Margarito was Mosley kept landing his huge overhand punches on Margarito vs Shane not being able to land another one on Floyd.

If he would have landed 1 or 2 more, then he would have knocked Floyd the Fvkk out. Mayweather is good at clinching and surving while hurt, whereas Margarito's fight fire with fire mentality when hurt, is about the worse thing you can do against someone like Shane.

Yeah Margarito got beat bad by Shane, but that is more of a testiment to how good of a puncher Shane is at 147, and Margarito's style being tailor made for that type of fighter.

Like Shane said, not everyone can fight Margarito like that and it takes a special fighter to beat him. Neither Khan, Maidana, Ortiz, Bradley or Alexander have the power to back Margarito up, or outmuscle him with clinches etc. like Shane was able to do.
