and for the record all the ppl posting about the guys at 140, i think most of those fighters at 140 have a better chance of beating pac rite now than margarito.

and the simple fact is that he cant avoid them for much longer...there isnt anyone else to fight. we know he wont fight the real big dogs at jmw and he wont fight pwill at 147. all thats left are those said fighters and berto. so stop the bull**** about manny owning them all, sure he might. but does that mean he gets a pass for not fighting them??

He states that we should look at their last fight to guage their accomplishments ..... that is not always the case , still, I guess this guy hasn't seen Timothy Bradley, Devon Alexander, and Juan Marquez latest fights? Also, Amir Khan would probably have to show that he can take a good punch and move up and beat the next level of opponents before someone would legitimize Manny beating him.

Plus, he said it that these guys would not augment the purse if Manny fights them. The purse would only be due to Manny's recognition. Not a good reason to fight them then.

Manny is now fighting so he can get rewarded one way or another. Fighting those guys would not reward him as much as getting another belt or beating Floyd.

Finally, Manny has been trying to get a fight going with Floyd for a long time now and he even admits its not happening because of Floyd's personal problems. So all his statements are shot with that alone. Everyone would say that fighting Floyd is a better accomplishment than those mentioned by this guy.

If Manny fought those guys and beat them, people would say, why did Manny take on fighters that are not ready to fight him?

like ppl said that about pernell whitaker when he embarassed a young dlh just to get cheated out of a victory rite??? they are all title holders they are all wothy to get their asses kicked by manny and no sane person would **** on manny for fighting them. they are all good fights.

I wouldn't mind seeing those fights and I guess you wouldn't either.

Still, please go back a few months and look at the threads that were made AFTER the Devon, Marquez, Bradley fights. All you read was that Marquez is finished. Bradely looked awful (I defended him since it was at WW) BUT as the article stated, it was his last fight ... lol ... Devon also struggled and some stated he lost! Khan won convincingly but it was against light fisted Malignaggi and there is still a question about fighting punchers.... that will be answered soon.

This article appears to state that Manny is ducking them. That is so so far from the reason why they are not fighting that it makes this article look ridiculous. That is the real point. I can't see any Manny fans not wanting to fight them nor can I see Manny being scared or intentionally ducking them. Again, this is why I find this article somewhat of a joke.

Still, you need to admit that there would be people that would say Manny fought these guys that were not ready yet IF Manny wins convincingly.

The guy he wrote the article is an idiot and sorry classless club writer. I dont know why is so difficult for some people to shut their mouth up when they has nothing with sense to say. The man was chasing a clash with the long time recognized p4p king now only second to him and send him to vacation and now almost jail.

Everybody and their mother want a shot a Pacquiao for money, fame and spotlight but unfortunately he cant fight them all. Every time he fight one guy the other one hundred in the line would say he avoid them. They should stop chasing Pacquiao and make the good fights we all want to see and that they are capable of but put simple Pacquiao is in another league of his own.

show me articles that say marquez is finished because from what i remember some people had marquez as the p4p#1 for knocking out cassamayor and daiz.bradleys fight at ww was a few months ago and alexanders fight was also recently, so manny didn't have to defend his title against any of them because they recently did not look as good?waht about before they had those fights?what was the reason for not defending his tittle against them before they had those bad fights?like the article says these are not walk in a straight line come forward fighters like all of manny's recent opponents have been so just like bradley and alexander had fights where they didn't look to good if manny were to fight bradley,alexander,khan or marquez he probably would not look to good
