My take on the margo-cotto fight

Cotto came out boxing and moving backwards(which he really doesnt do)he didnt go to the body nor did he clinch.margo continued to walk him down and the fact that cotto was going backwards took alot of power out of his shots.Cottos stance is talior made for margos uppercuts so Cotto ate them all night and got his nose broken in the 2nd round.As far as plaster i dont really think margo wouldve needed plaster that night(not saying he didnt load his gloves cause i wasnt there)cotto fought the wrong fight against a bigger more durable man...the reason margo looked so bad against mosley is because mosley wouldnt let him get off and he went to the body plus he moved laterally not backwards..it just seems to me cotto gets real uncomfortable when hes the one getting pressured i saw it in the clottey fight as well.as long as cotto is the bully he will look great..but put him in with a bigger bully he kinda of tenses up..

in my honest opinion i think cotto fought the wrong fight and margo fought the fight of his life that night

I don't buy that Marg's late surge after the beating he took was because he had plaster in his gloves. Not saying he didn't, because Margarito deserves that su****ion, but Margarito is always a slow starter and plaster doesn't make a person's chin take the shots Margarito did.

Dude, as savvy as you may think you are...you are not analyzing the bigger picture. Who had more to lose in this fight? MARGARITO..Miguel Cotto was his biggest fight so he had to go in there to cheat..INTENT SHOWS GUILT..if he was caught INTENDING to use plaster on MOSLEY...why in the hell would he have not tried to used it against an unbeaten prime miguel cotto?? Cotto was giving his all, but his body was debilitating with every blow he exchanged with Margarito...after 6 rounds of taking punishing and the plaster hardening...I can tell you that getting hit with that feels like being stabbed by rocks every hit....why do people not understand this? Mexicans should stop defending this cheating bastard and acknowledge that the fighter was caught RED HANDED...

The argument is not how much damage cheato endured, it is how much he delivered.

I have explained it before...Cotto took just about as many shots from Mosley and looked fine. He took more jabs and power shots from Pacquiao and he was busted up, but in my opinion, did not look as bad as against cheato. He took about 15% more power shots from Pacquiao and a hell of a lot more jabs.

mosley wasnt fighting going backwards like cotto..plus mosley has more power than cotto.mosley clinched and went to the body also unlike cotto
