First off Angulo can still fight outside of the US. Second, he can get a visa.
    basically

he was indeed deported but it's not like he isn't going to fight here again or even reside here.

this is all one great big over dramatic bag of hot wind

He should have known better, but I do NOT think he should be made to be an example. What I DON'T get is HBO dropping him. Christ, HBO should drop margacheato, not Angulo. What the frick gives?

I guess if he were deported once already...but that just sucks. Why does HBO have to drop him? They support the cheater, but not Angulo?
Like I said immigration is a hot topic right now. That's the reason they want to make an example out of him. What I don't understand is why his legal team never made an attempt to get the proper paperwork filled out. This **** is federal...Of course HBO is going to drop him. Who in their right mind is going to challenge the government? But yeah I know what you mean

That's not the question when it comes to the shattered professional boxing career of crowdpleaser Alfredo "Perro" Angulo.

        • one thing is to be sent back like when you caught and just "thrown" out..but when you are deported and come back it's different...if he wasn't deported and didn't use a different name to enter this country he'll be able to do ok,this country as long as they see you working and not getting assistance it's fine, doctors, athletes people like that have it easier, let's see what happens in the next days

            • On another note, how in the hell did Andy Lee ever beat Angulo (in the Olympics)???
After Brian Vera exposed Lee on ESPN FNF, I just can't see how Angulo could have ever lost to a guy like that... EVER.

                  • Is this really that difficult?

Yes, he has a CHANCE of getting work in the US again but the fact that it's his second offense makes that MUCH more difficult OBVIOUSLY.

Yes, there are Mexican TV networks that will air him in MEXICO.

ONLY HBO has banned him so far so he CAN fight in MEXICO and ANY OTHER COUNTRY he actually tries to go through the legal process to get a work visa for FOR ONCE and then be aired on ESPN, SHOWTIME, PPV and various other networks in the US if they will have him.

And no his career isn't over but his US career has taken a BIG hit. If you don't think the largest boxing network in the US banning you is a BIG hit then you're not thinking clearly.

That said, don't break OBVIOUSLY laws when it would have been cake to get a work visa assuming he's not a felon. And that said I hope he has a successful career boxing on the platforms he CAN be on now.
