      • He should've taken the opportunity to make $1,000,000 to fight Martinez for the Middleweight Title. The chances of seeing a payday like that ever again can't be good.

Did Valero's kid brother just make his pro debut like a week ago?

              Yeah that's true.

Anyways I don't know what kind of trouble Angulo is going to be in but I highly doubt his boxing career will suffer. He's built a big enough name for himself that no matter what he'll still be in the mix at Jr Middleweight. Only difference is I don't think he'll make as much money. And I don't think he'll need europe if anything he can just go to canada

Angulo will keep fighting but without a network like HBO or Showtime, it is extremely unlikely that he will get the big fights.

Hmmm i dont know about canada. He doesnt speak english or french and wouldnt be a draw at all.

The big point of this article is that HBO, who pretty much control boxing, have dropped a person who was a pretty big draw for them

We'll have to wait and see what happens. Because I don't think HBO or Showtime will work with him in the US. But if he's in Mexico or Canada I don't think they'll mind airing his fights if there's a demand for them.

Plus it's not like he's a protected fighter from over seas. He's basically going to be located across the street. So It won't be too difficult to get him fights when he's able to fight again.

I think his only real problem will be he won't be able to make as much money. But at the same time he won't exactly be making peanuts.

                  • Crappy article. Racist. Illegal conduct ur an idiot. The guy is just trying to make an honest living. He should be given a chance to fight in the states. It aint like hes caused any trouble and if Margarito is licensed here there certainly aint a reason to keep Perro out. This is total BS and a lame column.

you are completely ignorant. loading your gloves with plaster could possibly kill someone or do great damage to a man. Nobody is hurt if Angulo crossed the border. Nobody is harmed that way. and getting a work visa isn't as easy as you would think.
