      Good posts.

So how do you see the fight playing out.

Khan will outbox Maidana in the early rounds, but Maidana will try to bully him to the ropes and land body shots whenever he can, and will succeed in doing so from time to time. As the fight goes on, Khan will start to slow down a bit, and at some point in the late rounds, Khan will be hurt, which will his moment of truth. Then we'll find out whether Roach has taught him how to survive and recoup when he's hurt, until his head clears. If he can do that effectively, he'll win. If he can't, he'll lose. That's what makes it an exciting and intriguing fight.

I don't think these statements are true. A come-forward style doesn't automatically = limited boxing skills.

Duran and Frazier were both ridiculously skilled boxers.

I see Maidan starting early just like he did with Ortiz...People thinking Maidana is just going to get outboxed by Khan are really overating him..I just don't like the way Khan looks when he gets hit cleanly..Not saying he can't win but it will not be easy and he will have to show some real heart...

I agree both of those fighters did come forward but both used great head movement to get inside and had good foot work...

Khan will destroy Maidana. Amir wins by ko in the 8th round.

Good match-up...Maidana will prevail if the meet..

...Maidana will definitely get outboxed but with his good chin, defense and fighting heart he will eventually overwhelm Khan in the later rounds and KO khan out..this fight will be similar to Alexander/Kotelnik fight except that when khan gets hit..it will be pretty much over...I prefer to see these two guys go up against..Bradley and Alexander...Thet should start their own Super Six! Add Rios and JMM..

I see it pretty much the same way you do here, the only unknown variable at this point for me, besides how Kahn will handle Maidanas pressure and punch, is what kind of shape Maidana comes in. Didn't like what I saw in the Corley fight at all....
