Dangerous fight for Khan, he's the superior boxer by far but Maidana has serious power. It should be a great fight to watch.

Where are all the people on here that said Khan would never fight a puncher like Maidana?

His performance against a well-past his best Corley was hopefully a huge off night. That or he isn't as good as we all think he is. Sure he had a close fight with Kotenlik and first to stop Ortiz but you can argue that those fighters at those time of their life weren't close to their peak. You can now argue that Maidana is a bit one dimensional and needs his opponent to go toe 2 toe with him so he is able to beat them.

Wasn't this fight suppose to happen like a year ago but Roach and Khan kept paying off Maidana to wait because they felt their fighter wasn't ready for it? So in that aspect I am kind of disappointed. I wanted this fight to happen when I actually thought either man could win the fight. Now its a dead given that Khan should be the favorite.

I wouldn't look too much into the Corley fight, Maidana wasn't at his best but it dosen't mean he won't be against Khan.

Remember Maidana was going to fight bradley and wanted to fight Khan, the Corley fight was a stay busy fight and he didn't take Corley serious and it almost cost him.

Maidana has talked about or been linked with a fight with Khan for over a year, im sure he will be motivated and come fight night should be in great shape.

To me this fight is still 50-50, or at best 60-40 Khan.
