I think a lot of people underate Khan's power, Ortiz showed Maidana's chin isn't rock solid. Wouldn't be surprised to see Khan stop Maidana.

Khan does not have Ortiz power for 1. 2.Maidana has a way better chin then Khan...3.I think people underestimate Maidana skill to get inside were Khan does not wanna be...Khan is going to lose this fight in the 4th or 6th....

I just watched Maidana vs Corley. I don't know what was wrong with Maidana but he looked horrible. He was huffing and puffing (even by the end of round 1), like a 2 pack a day smoker, throughout the entire fight. He was slower than usual and extremely sluggish. He was either severely out of shape or something was wrong with him. And, he was bothered by body shots in the first round or so.
If Maidana comes in like he did against Corley, I can actually see Kahn stopping him in the first half of the fight. If Maidana lasts through the first half of the fight, there's a better chance that he could stop Kahn in the second half of the fight.
The thing about Maidana is he always keeps coming, and he throws almost all power shots (has almost no jab, and it's a powder puff). If he lands (and he will) it WILL slow Kahn down some. This is Maidanas only chance. Hopefully he will target the body of Kahn, but he's mostly a head hunter. If he doesn't raise his stamina though, he's done for against Kahn. He's going to be chasing Kahn around the ring for the first half of the fight, so if his stamina is **** then Kahn could very well KO him early.
Hopefully the Maidana that showed up against Ortiz shows up. After seeing how Maidana was against Corley, Kahn may not be expecting that. I hope like hell Maidana comes in tip-top shape because I really want to see him beat Kahn.

Side note: It's crazy how much Maidana looked so much like Baldomir (style wise) in the Corley fight.

Maidana should be eager to learn how to box because You can't take every boxer to a street fight. Some boxers will be smart and know how to avoid making the fight a street fight and that will probably be Khan's strategy.

The best part of the article is where he says that he's gonna train in vegas for 9 weeks. His physical condition will be optimal, not like maidana-corley

Khan is just too good of a boxer to let Maidana get in the inside for longer than a few seconds imo. Roach and Khan will have a gameplan and stick to it and nowhere in that gameplan will there be inside fighting. He will jab him all night and it will stop Maidana in his tracks, that's not to mention how hard it must be for Maidana mentally when he finds he can't get inside.
