Boxing doesnt need this racist mofo - or any sport for that matter. We need to have zero tolerance for his kind of behavior. I hope his sponsers drop him too.

Boxing does not need him!
Mayweather really does need boxing, or rather the money that the sport brings him, else his life becomes a total mess.
But does the sport need him? I don't think so. There are more than enough boxing talents to go around.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is not a good example for amateur boxers to follow, it's
wrong to suggest it. Agree he needs boxing but boxing doesn't neccessarily needs him.

It seems more and more like Bob's fighters work for him and not the other way around. I mean how do you even think of justifying Margo OR Pac a title shot at Junior middle?? SMH at the WBC for slapping all other junior middlers in the face particularly Martinez.. Pac wouldn't dare step in there with Martinez... all of this so-called greatness is orchestrated.. No Mosley's, Judah's, Berto's, Bradley's, Alexander's, Martinez... just feeding him a bunch of slow punching bags. If he did these things to any of the aforementioned then I would give him mad props... Im actually pissed at both fighters at this point... I want Floyd vs Pac and Cotto and Margarito and Berto and Williams... And I want Pac vs Floyd and Berto and Bradley and Mosley and Berto and Judah... boxing needs these kinds of fights

The blatant racism of some of you should have your ignorant asses locked up! Society doesn't need your ignorance cause you damn sure don't talk about other fighters as some of you talk about Floyd and none of you know the man personally. Anything to take away from the fact that the dude is the best P4P in the ring. Not the most classiest or articulate dude on the block but a bad ass MFer in the ring. Can't take that away from him.

You have the hard hitting Euro invasion at MW with Golovkin, Korobov, and Pirog along with Lemiux.
This is not the 90's. Where the 90's had a lot of exciting fighters like Carbajal, Tzsyu, Gonzalez, Tito, Jones, Holyfield, JCC, Taylor, etc etc.
Boxing doesn't need any single individual. As soon as one big star leaves there is somebody that is going to take their place it has happen. When Ali left, Leonard took his place, then Tsyon, then Oscar came in, now Floyd and Pac. then it will be somebody else.
It is exciting as long as the best fight the best and competitive fights happen boxing won't miss a beat.
