Boxing doesnt need this racist mofo - or any sport for that matter. We need to have zero tolerance for his kind of behavior. I hope his sponsers drop him too.

      Boxing does not need him!

Mayweather really does need boxing, or rather the money that the sport brings him, else his life becomes a total mess.
But does the sport need him? I don't think so. There are more than enough boxing talents to go around.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is not a good example for amateur boxers to follow, it's
wrong to suggest it. Agree he needs boxing but boxing doesn't neccessarily needs him.

Me and everyone else have had enough of this **** on both ends!!!! Floyd stop posturing and Manny make a decision without Bob for once in your life... It seems more and more like Bob's fighters work for him and not the other way around. I mean how do you even think of justifying Margo OR Pac a title shot at Junior middle?? SMH at the WBC for slapping all other junior middlers in the face particularly Martinez.. Pac wouldn't dare step in there with Martinez... all of this so-called greatness is orchestrated.. No Mosley's, Judah's, Berto's, Bradley's, Alexander's, Martinez... just feeding him a bunch of slow punching bags. If he did these things to any of the aforementioned then I would give him mad props... Im actually pissed at both fighters at this point... I want Floyd vs Pac and Cotto and Margarito and Berto and Williams... And I want Pac vs Floyd and Berto and Bradley and Mosley and Berto and Judah... boxing needs these kinds of fights
Do you actually think that the champion who carries 7 title in weight class and who is one of the most exciting boxer of this era will agreed to less than 50/50 to his disadvantage? Do you think Floyd will accept less than 50/50? If Manny make such demand, it will be an excuse not to fight Floyd. For Floyd not concede to 50/50 would be an excuse not to fight Manny because Manny will never accept less than 50/50. If you want the fight to happen, the split has to be 50/50 otherwise it will never happen. I would like Manny to take on S. Martinez someday more than wanting to see Manny vs Floyd. Now that's going to be a clash of two true warriors that's going to give the fans entertainment for their money. But Manny, I believe is moving up in weight cautiously. It is a smart thing to do. After all, it is not a good idea to dive head in first into a pool without knowing how deep the water is.

Fighters like Ali, Tyson, and now Floyd have always stayed in the news. There was always something going on in their lives that caused controversy. It is what helped make them rich. What does that say about our society? Hispanic and white fighters can be less talented and still have a huge following and make lots of money. Black fighters have to be outspoken, arrogant, and rowdy to get noticed and make good money. Most of these black fighters only "portray" the image to be successful. If you get to know them, they are completely the opposite of what they portray. If you don't believe me, just look at the careers of Tim Bradley and Devon Alexander. Two great fighters who are under the radar because they are gentlemen, but have excellent talent.Yet, their counterpart,Amir Khan, is already making millions. Why is that??? It just tells you alot about our society. A black man has to be a side show or have a circus personality to make the big bucks in this business.Who really paid attention to Floyd as a fighter before he changed to the "MONEY MAYWEATHER" character?

The blatant racism of some of you should have your ignorant asses locked up! Society doesn't need your ignorance cause you damn sure don't talk about other fighters as some of you talk about Floyd and none of you know the man personally. Anything to take away from the fact that the dude is the best P4P in the ring. Not the most classiest or articulate dude on the block but a bad ass MFer in the ring. Can't take that away from him.
There it is. The big Gun. It is what catapulted African American in our society. That is why we have an African American as president to a nation that once enslave them. This is why African American holds more high ranking positions than other minority counter part. Don't get me wrong. I think there are a lot of intelligent, gifted African Americans out there. That is why we see them in movies, sports, politics, etc. But without this big guns, they would be in the same **** hole as most other gifted ********** are in. This big gun has been working to influence White Americans. But to use it on Filipino Americans and other ********** other than African Americans, that would be blaming the victims of racism by the majority. Floyd action should not be compared to common people's action. He is a public figure and have a lot of influence specially to young ones. As it had been proven, his racially tone remarks had a profound effect than common people have had. Let us not blame the victims. Let us blame the perpetrators. After all, it is not only some Pacquiao's fans who had been making racist remarks. Some of Floyd fans have been making racist remarks as well. The first one I quoted definitely has a tone of racist and maybe coming from a person that only recognize racism inflicted against his own ethnicity. Most of us are like that and I am not an exception. We need to be aware of that so we can, hopefully, make an educated unbiased opinion. In my own observation, positively and negatively, African American tend to be much more race sensitive than any other group of ethnicity. But then, they justify it by their history. But don't use it against Filipino Americans. They are just as victims as you were once before. If anything at all, Fil-Ams are probably one of the most victimized ethnicity by discrimination in current America. But then, I may be biased because of my ethnicity. If I may add, pay day for boxers depends on number of viewers not base on race. But obviously, the number of viewers affect the race of the fighter he represent, and his performance in the ring. There is nothing you can do about that. To try to do so would be a racially motivated action. And to force people into doing so would be tyranny. That is my opinion.

Boxing doesn´t need a clown that hus and runs for half the fight. Boxing doesn´t need someone who ducks oponents.

It is exciting without those guys. Rios who just hit the scene is an exciting fighter. Montiel, Poonsawat, Bradley are exciting to me. I am excited and nervous everytime Moreono and Gonzalez fight.

You have the hard hitting Euro invasion at MW with Golovkin, Korobov, and Pirog along with Lemiux.

This is not the 90's. Where the 90's had a lot of exciting fighters like Carbajal, Tzsyu, Gonzalez, Tito, Jones, Holyfield, JCC, Taylor, etc etc.

Boxing doesn't need any single individual. As soon as one big star leaves there is somebody that is going to take their place it has happen. When Ali left, Leonard took his place, then Tsyon, then Oscar came in, now Floyd and Pac. then it will be somebody else.

It is exciting as long as the best fight the best and competitive fights happen boxing won't miss a beat.

Hispanics and whites are not less talented than blacks. Matter of fact, people give blacks too many oprtunities. Black boxers have no honor, they run, hug, talk, cheat. Nobody likes that. Blacks try to be racist because tey want some sort of revenge. Good thing now we ha ve Asians and East Europeans on the boxing scene, they have a lot of heart. Before that it was just blacks, Hispanics and a few Anglo-whites.
