We don't need Floyd in the boxing world, but the penitentiary does. I think he would thrive in that environment quite well. He could box in the prison system and it would be perfect for him.

Boxing doesn't need Floyd & it doesn't need Pacman!!I think both have been horrible for the sport,both have touched down at 147,now all of a sudden a whole lot of cherrypicking has surfaced!!Other fighters have fallen under their spell!!I can't wait for them to retire,I prefer to watch Bradley,Alexander the Punisher,Angulo,Martinez,Andre(both) & sooo many other fighters who put it down without ducking than those 2,really!!

at 147, pac hasnt cherry picked anyone...is fighting two top 5 welterweights considered cherry picking? is fighting cotto for cotto's belt, who beat mosley, considered cherry picking? if pac fought mosley instead of cotto, people will say how come pac is fighting the loser of the cotto/mosley fight? now pac is fighting margarito, another top welterweight, but fighting him one division higher.

if boxing needed either mayweather jr or pac, it would be pac because he is humble and an exciting fighter. how many pac fights have you heard the fans say booooo? ..Floyd needs boxing more than boxing needs him, boxing has been around for almost 90 years now and it will keep on going until we are all gone..without boxing Jr will just be out in the street doing what he does best which is talk nonsense and who knows what. The gym is his sanctuary, boxing will save him from personal catastrophe, boxing will do just fine without him.
Stay in the Gym Jr..it really sucks I guess growing up with Sr. but there is always a fix!
