Hatton is a world class fighter now and can easily hang with any fighter at his weight out there. He took Tszyus power so i do not doubt that he can take anyone elses. The sheer intensity he fights at is enough to give any fighter a hard time. The only person who i am very wary of Hatton fighting is Mayweather

Hatton's really heavy handed, i'd imagine his opponents cant move for days afterwards, his shots dont cause instant KO's but over the full distance opponents take a real beating. IMO Hatton opponents are at a higher risk of health problems.
Tszyu's really powerful, he looks like he has the power to put a bull on its ass. Its not spark out KO punching but he's known as a big puncher for a really good reason. All his opponents say how powerful he hits. The type of power that shakes your brain.
Cotto was spark out KO punching but the more strength he puts on the more heavy handed he becomes(a lot Hatton), he's getting heavy handed but losing the ability to KO opponents instantly now he's losing speed.
Cotto has a real defensive problem against inside fighters, you put him in with Castillo or Hatton then he'll get a beating. Obviously he has enough ability to win those fights but he'll have a very hard job doing it, i personally dont think he'd win either unless he caught them. His hands up defence looks open to the uppercuts and hooks to body and head. He has decent footwork but it no way near as elusive as Mayweather, i think Hatton closes the distance so quickly Cotto would struggle to keep him off.
Trying to run from Hatton is committing boxing suicide... That's what he wants his opponent to do, and I can't see anyway any fighter is going to beable to keep Hatton away from them. Hatton is sooooo affective at closing the distance.
To beat Hatton you're gonna need to beat him at his own game. You have to stand there and trade punches with him and EARN his respect. The only way you can earn that respect off him is if you have POWER. You need to come off better in a trade off of punches and catch Hatton with a couple of really hard shots. - That'll make Hatton think and alter his method of attack.
Cotto has the skill, strength and power to be able to do this...
Mayweather may have the skill, but he doesn't have the strength or power to get Hattons respect.
That's my opinion on the threeComment

Well, we will have to agree to differ. I'd say Mayweathers the harder fight but i'd rather him fight Hatton than Cotto, There's more to lose by getting beat by Cotto, getting beat the best P4P fighter is not a bad thing but i'm sure Hatton wont see it that way.
Do you think either will beat Hatton??Comment

Hatton will come to the U.S., whether its the next fight or one after, we'll hear soon enough. August/Sept are gonna be big fights. PBF, as good as he is, risks alot fighting Hatton unless it's in his back yard, he may win, but will take punishment from it. Cotto has the Heart of Gatti, the speed Gatti is lacking, needs a couple more fights before he makes his move to the top, but will be on top. What fight would be good to see, dirty or not, here or there, would be Gatti/Hatton. We need more Barrera/Morales, Ward/Gatti type of fights, not jab and run styles unless they can stand up and risk everything even if they are about to win, eg. Morales/Piqq.Comment

Hatten is definately one of the better fighters of the division, he has unbelivable power and a pretty damn good chin if you ask me. I think that he could wipe cotto out no problem. As far as a dirty fighter I dont see that at all everyone hits low or in the back of the head at certain times throughout their career. He's just a brute not too smart but a brute!Comment

Cotto has the power to knock Hatton out... I reckon Cott could beat Hatton.
I don't think Floyd will be able to beat Hatton. Hatton will bulldose through him.
What do you think?Comment
