Originally posted by IwatchBoxingI think they want America to be the international place for everyone, but I would love to see Mayweather going to England to fight Hatton, with a rematch clause to bring it to the United States. In the old days a loss didnt really matter, why should it now? It'd be fun to see two differnet styles.Comment

Originally posted by MerovingianRicky Fatton knows that if he comes to the United States and fights, his ass would get disqualified. The only time he fought in the Tszyu fight was the last couple of rounds. I know that was his gameplan, but he can't do that **** over here. This isn't the WWE. He has average power, he comes in with his head, holds, and hits. If he had any kind of skills, he would be like B-HOP, hold and hit every once and a while and the ref never sees the ****. He has no skills. In a fair fight, Cotto would KO his ass. Mayweather would beat his ass into submission. So, go ahead and fight in Manchester where it is OK to box like the WWE, because in the states the ref will disqualify his ass for the so called boxing skills he has.
you wont see hatton coming over here.Last edited by STEELHEAD; 07-29-2005, 12:24 AM.Comment

The sigs just a joke, i dont agree with intentional low blows.Comment

I have watched a bunch of Hatton's fights and thought he looked good in almost all of them, even when he got dropped by Magee. I'm not sure that he could beat Mayweather but he would come to fight. He wouldn't quit on his stool, thats for sure.Comment

People who says Cotto is stronger than Hatton just dont realise how wrong they are, If you can out muscle a strength freak like Tszyu then your ****ing strong. Even when i was lifting i'd struggle with 140kg bench(Tszyu lifts that), that a heavy ass weight for a 10st fighter.
He hits like a kick from a mule!
I do think Cotto has one punch KO power... And he really seems to throw those bombs with evil intentions!Comment

some amazing ignorance displayed on this thread as per usual when it comes to Hatton, for the gntleman who said "you wont see hatton over here", jeez mate, its been in the press he has said it on TV, he will fight in New York or Vegas its a dream of ricky's.
As for the rest of it, come talk to me when Cotto has fought a top echelon light welter, and no BRANCO doesnt count as top ten, nor does Bailey, Corley nor Ndou.
really you lot dont have talk some ****.Comment
