Ricky Fatton knows that if he comes to the United States and fights, his ass would get disqualified. The only time he fought in the Tszyu fight was the last couple of rounds. I know that was his gameplan, but he can't do that **** over here. This isn't the WWE. He has average power, he comes in with his head, holds, and hits. If he had any kind of skills, he would be like B-HOP, hold and hit every once and a while and the ref never sees the ****. He has no skills. In a fair fight, Cotto would KO his ass. Mayweather would beat his ass into submission. So, go ahead and fight in Manchester where it is OK to box like the WWE, because in the states the ref will disqualify his ass for the so called boxing skills he has.
The only thing i've ever worried about Cotto was the fast combos he'd throw, they were lethal but now he doesnt throw them Hatton can just walk through.
People who says Cotto is stronger than Hatton just dont realise how wrong they are, If you can out muscle a strength freak like Tszyu then your ****ing strong. Even when i was lifting i'd struggle with 140kg bench(Tszyu lifts that), that a heavy ass weight for a 10st fighter.
Cotto's big but not particularly strong for his size from what I've seen. No way he outmuscles Hatton and I don't think he'd even try it.
I wouldn't even be worried about the combos to be honest mate. Hatton usually covers up pretty quickly and I've only ever really seen him caught with single shots.

Cotto was always good at opening up fighters defences, throwing a lot of shots and then picking the final hard shot.
Hatton's more effective which means he's more skillful, boxing fans often confuse skill with being a tart, its always the fast dancers who get called skillful but the methodical fighters like Hatton are said to have no skill. I'm sure an educated person like yourself knows that skill means your good at what you do, in Hattons case - Intelligent pressure(almost perfect at it).

I'd agree and it makes me laugh when people on here say that someone like Augustus would have a damn good chance against Hatton becuase he's arguably technically more gifted.

You agree with my point or that i consider you well educated
The hardest thing i ever do in the gym is work on the inside, its tough as hell, boxing on the outside IMO is easy. Closing the distance without getting a beating is a great skill, the head movement and reactions of the fighter has to be learnt over a long time.
Augustus gets hit too much, just because he throws fast straight shots doesnt mean he's talented. I think Hatton would do a better job that Mayweather did because of the style.
kinda funny how there is only PBF that is good from USA in teh 140 division . so wtf does this have to do with America??? i'll be the first to say that im not the biggest fan of america, i aint from there BTW LOL. but cotto, and maussa, and gatti (hes more canadian), and tszyu aren't amrerican
