Cotto ****s himself under pressure. Watch the Abdulaev fight, he curls up in a ball on the ropes several times without Abdulaev even throwing a punch.

What speed he had seems to have desterted him in his last couple of fights too and his punch resistance is far from convincing. He's not looking good at the weight anymore, come back to me when he looks good against someone with a pulse.

On a side note, fancy a flutter on Reid v Lacy?

It doesnt seem to effect him at all, he puts on fat but his body isnt too big for the weight so he just need to train harder. if anything it means he'll be in better shape because he's had to burn fat more than most fighters.

Some fighter drain themselves to get down to silly weights they shouldnt be fighting at, example - Scott Harrison will suffer in future for his weight loss.

We see the same thing mate, Cotto needs to improve his defence and hand speed. The more weight he put on the worst he looks, i find it weird that Cotto fans thnk his weight gain is good for him?? A slimmer, faster Cotto could cause Hatton problems but if he turns up like he did against Corley he'll get butchered.

i agree that he would not get away with the stuff he did against tszyu if he fought in the us....a fight with cotto is pretty much an even fight but i think cotto wins i can't see hatton pushing cotto around like he did tszyu also cotto has more boxing skills than hatton ....a fight with mayweather he looses and looks bad doing it ..

I agree and I do like him as a fighter but he seems to be going backwards. It can only be down to the weight because he does have great skills.

The only thing i've ever worried about Cotto was the fast combos he'd throw, they were lethal but now he doesnt throw them Hatton can just walk through.

People who says Cotto is stronger than Hatton just dont realise how wrong they are, If you can out muscle a strength freak like Tszyu then your ****ing strong. Even when i was lifting i'd struggle with 140kg bench(Tszyu lifts that), that a heavy ass weight for a 10st fighter.
