Maidana is the interim champion and mandatory challenger to Khan's title. There is absolutely no reason for Khan to get better than a 60-40 split on this fight. In fact, the split should be mandated by the WBA.

Khan takes 1.2 mill, Maidana takes 800K. Make the damn fight.

Of course Khan will probably insist he is entitled to 1.5 mill and refuse the fight like a *****.

Maidana is a mandatory. I'm not saying Khan wasn't ducking him before because I think he was but I don't think he is now. I just don't think Maidana is in any position to make financial demands.

Think about it, Maidana can accept this offer and make some money or he can let it go to the mandatory split and make more money.

When you're not a champion and you have very little draw compared to Khan you fight for the money offered, win and THEN get to make financial demands. Not before you win.

No, the spit is 55/45 since Maidana is the interim champ. Khan paid him off to delay his mandatory fight which is why Maidana is the interim champ.
