Dirrell is the #1 contender for the WBC and it's wrong for him to fight for it?

If anything the WBC did something right for once in not letting Ward's status as WBA champ get in the way.

Ward and Dirrell should fight where the biggest gate is. The point is they should fight and this isn't remotely unfair to anyone.

This makes sense so it doesn't. It's amusing.

A little surprised that they went this way but it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, winner of the tournament will be unified champ.

Who cares, sanctioning bodies suck. Especially the crooked WBC.

What he doesnt state is that he will try to force the new WBC champ to drop the WBA belt or else he gets stripped by the WBC at which point we are right back to square one.

                    Something is wrong here.

Why can't Kessler keep the WBC belt until next year, since he just won it a couple of months ago? Guillermo Jones was allowed to keep his cruiserweight title for TWO YEARS without defending it.
I agree with this. Why the rush to get the belts to Ward or Dirrell? I doubt they would strip Ward if he had to leave due to injury..

Hehe, they give the WBC belt to the fight that's in danger of being put together and has the least interest out of the two. A WBC belt should get the two of them in the ring.

Froch is going to be pissed.

Personally, it doesn't affect me. These titles mean nothing to me. The tournament final is for the title.
