I do not get this at all, I was under the impression for as long as i remember that a belt can not just be tacked on like that, a champion of another sacntion is not even rated under the other's.

Don't get me wrong i love belts being unified so there can be a true champion, but not like that

Dirrell is ranked #1 by the WBC, and Ward just beat Kessler who became the WBC's champ.

I don't see how they aren't deserving of fighting for the belt.

Titles not kept by American boxers are basically worthless unless the holder fights in the USA. The money is in the States, Klits are losing Millions fighting in Hitler land. Cable told Klitties to go to hell. If it is not American it is not worth it. You don't see manny fighting in Flippo land. Or Marquez fighting in Mexi-taco. USA rules the world-generate the money and gives the exposure. Froch and the Arab Abe bring nothing to the table. Of course Wardsie and crying dirrell are ones to support and are jokes.

This is a ****** move by the WBC, it would have been even more marketable having froch v abe winner being the wbc champ against the wba champ in the final. Ward isn't even ranked, Froch is the ex WBC champion. This reeks of bull****, i just don't get boxing sometimes...

Wow-you actually think it is bull****???? Dirrell beat Abraham and should have got the nod against Froch-the WBC even recognized this and ordered a rematch (as long as it didn't interfere with the tournament)...

As for Ward,he beat the hell out of Kessler-(who beat Froch) and Allan Green.Neither guy was even competitive.
Anyone who thinks Abraham and Froch should be crowned as the best,are on drugs.
