Before i start Floyd Mayweather is my favourite fighter of all time so i think i should be eligable to comment. Its a tough one, because i think theres alot of fighters who CAN beat Floyd, i think he has a style that anyone would struggle with, its a hard style man.

If i had to choose one it would have to be at 135, as other posters have stated 135 was where Floyd looked his best, and i agree. And i think at 135, without doubt Mayweather Vs. Duran would be the most epic, and would be an outstanding fight, i think Duran has tools that would give Mayweather trouble and could definitely come close to beating him. But man, i think Mayweather would pull out the victory.

At 147, as Jro mentioned, its his 4th weight class, alot of fighters have a good shot at beating him i dont think its fair to compare this one, then again is till think he could be competitve with alot of ATG at 147 personally. 135 is his best i think best vs best is the best way to do it.

And, WTF does age have to do with anything? How many fighters were done at 29?

Now Floyd was still elite and good enough where he could of competed at that time against anybody from 147-154 and beat most at that time. However, his peak was 130-140.
Was at he at the height of his powers at age 25 or 26 when he was going life and death with Castillo? Personally, I think Floyd is probably at the very tail end of his prime now, a prime that began around the time of the Judah fight. The mental aspects, the focus, the dedication to training, the honing of his skills, his physical growth and maturation. He's now a solid welterweight, who comes into the ring on fight night somewhere between 155-158 on fight night.

        both ****ed up decisions.

but in the trinidad fight he has no one to blame but himself. honestly because he didnt behave as champion after round 9.
If you clearly win 9 or 10 rounds you deserve to win the fight, unless there multiple knockdown/point deductions along the way.

          End of story.
The bold is the key word!!!!! Where did you get that from(red)? PBF didn't even fight hard IMO. Cause like PBF said "He ain't gonna do ****!!!" Name one pure prime fighter that was a better boxer than De la Hoya that he beat?

Duran was a beast at 135, arguably the best fighter of all time at 135. But, he was not unbeatable since he lost to Estaban DeJeus, but he also avenged his lost to DeJesus twice. Look at the Buchanan fight for a better strategy. And, no Duran lone strategy would be to outbox Floyd. But, he would mix it up, try to outbox him in spots, trap him in spots (Duran was smart enough to be capable of trapping the very intelligent Floyd), outwork him , make it rough. Duran would not have just one gameplan. Like Floyd he would adjust and have a plan A B and C.

I agree with part of this physically 1st fight @135 against Castillo PBF didn't like how he was muscled around. From my understanding he always trained like a mad man from the beginning until now. Don't know about that fight night weight.

I got that from watching the fight. Floyd had issues with Oscar's jab, he had issues with Oscar's reach and handspeed. I'll go back and rewatch it as I haven't seen it in years but I was surprised that Oscar was as competitive as he was.

You will always have one of those fights though like the Castillo. Doesn't mean he wasn't at his peak. Peak meaning you're at your best at. And, between 130-140 Floyd was at his absolute best.

Ray Robinson was at his best at 147 but him going life and death with Kid Gavilan twice means he wasn't at his peak? Yea Gavilan is greater than Castillo. But, Castillo is no bum. You will always have that one fighter/style that would give any fighter trouble. Doesn't mean you not your absolute best.

Duran was at the height of hiw powers at 135 and like Horus mentioned he had DeJesus who would give him trouble even beat him once. Oscar was at his best at 135/140 yet he was gasping for air and looking up at the time against John John Molina. So going life and death with a top fighter of that time doesn't mean that he wasn't at his peak.

His peak again meaning absolute best is at 130-140. Not 150....

He had a torn rotator cuff vs. Castillo in the first fight people.

While this is just opinion. A fighter can get beaten on any given night, but a fact that has been overlooked when it comes to Mayweather is that he's one of the most complete fighter since Ray Robinson. It's hard to find a weakness because he's a well balance fighter- high ring IQ, balance, timing, reflex, stamina, speed, quickness, defense, deceptive power, strategist, and discipline. On May's best night when he combines all these attributes...i really don't see him being beaten. I definitely see him in tough fights but ultimately being victorious. In addition, i think the weight at which he combines all these attributes was 140. Conclusively, i do believe age will beat him if he continues fighting, or even loses focus. I think he's at that point right now, because one can see that his love for boxing is fading, while a guy like Hopkins at 40+ still seems hungry.
