I would generally say the MMA'er would win...

But, this goes out to those who actually are trained in MMA :

You have to realize, just because you are trained in it, it doesn't necessarily mean you are any good at it..... & it doesn't mean you're automatically an ass-kicker.

I also think there are a lot of guys floating around on various internet forums who talk about being MMAers, who aren't, & like to do so as a way to "scare off" ****-talkers.

was just thinking about this - i reckon at super-heavy boxers would have a decent chance againts an MMA fighter. Their kicks are pretty slow at this weight, and the chance of the boxer being able to resist the takedown is greater. I can't see any boxer from middleweight down having a chance against an MMA fighter, kicks and takedowns occur too often.
