No,that's not what I said.I,like many others, refer to it as "MMGAY" because two half-naked,grown men rolling around on the ground with one another isn't something a hetrosexual would even think of doing.

I suggest you look at the level of competition in which these knockouts occured. They sure as hell weren't happening on the main card of a mainstream PPV.I understand that it's difficult for an MMGAY fan to take this in,but try and give it a shot anyway.

Early knockouts are a rarity at a world class level in boxing. And even if one is scored, they're usually from an accumulation of blows rather than one single shot. This simply isn't the case in MMGAY,where "fighters" are often knocked out or seriously rocked through the first flush shot that is landed

you dont watch much MMA if you think MMA fighters are getting KO'd with one shot...

not too mention that are being kicked in the head which is a lot worse then being punched with a boxing glove..........and if they were so what? they wear 3 oz gloves..

get real. you sound bitter and traumatized about what happend last night.

I love JT, props to him for trying out MMA....

But way to demonstrate your ignorance. Don't expect anything less from an 18 year old child living in his mom's basement.

Who the **** are half these dudes and where do they come from?? Bars, schools, your job, garbage men, life guards, etc. You dont even have to be good.
Yes, you could have no training at all. That doesn't mean you'll be successful at it. Kinda the same as boxing.

You could also come into mma with a professional boxing background. This doesn't necessarily mean you'd be successful at it either (see yesterday).

Who specifically are you talking about? Are you talking about the odd exception, or are you talking about the rule. Because I can assure you that the rule isn't how you're portraying it.

That said, the sport of mma is still young although the martial arts are not. MMA doesn't have a century of history like boxing.

Oh, I get it. They have special breeding for babies that eventually participate in boxing that isn't done for mma fighters?

Or is it because you can train a guy to not get knocked out by training him...what do you do, keep punching him in the head over and over until they don't get knocked out anymore? lol!

And what is with the ****phobia anyways? Do you feel the same way about wrestling, which happens to be a pretty popular US high school sport?

When you watch this - are you actually visualizing guys gagging on each other's cawks, because I just don't see that when I'm watching it?? Maybe this has more to do with you then the actual sport itself.

MMA is... Celebrity Death Match. Oprah should fight Michelle *****.. The should let a pro football player fight a WWE star (wait, they may have already). Or let a duck fight a wolf.... But for real, Any person with no training or with 6 months training would never headline a pay per card in Boxing or any other respected sport..I dont give a fck who it is. It shows you how much bs it truly is

You don't think that the organization should have respected the fact that JT did have a 78-6 boxing record with numerous world titles?

It co-headlined because the fight garnered a lot of fan interest, but it wasn't the only event on that card. Just because you might not have watched the event except for that one fight doesn't mean that there weren't a lot of mma fans who would have watched the rest of that card without that fight.

There's a reason why mma is becoming so popular - I'd suggest that its because its fans do actually enjoy watching all the other fights too.

Boxing is a form of MMA....so Toney has a lot of experience....dont be so ignorant.

when the UFC first began it was boxers, kickboxers, karate guys. thai kwon doe, wrestlers, ju jit siu guys all fighting against each other to see which fighting style is the best. it has since evolved where
most ufc fighters are well versed in more than one fighting style. in order to be able to defend against the other arts. Toney thought that he could dabble in grapping for a few months and that would be enough because he belived he could land a big shot and end it.
