You know, I have a story for you, that Im hoping you will understand.

    This is a true story.

I live in Canada. I go to a bar to watch boxing fights.

One day I go to my bar and the bartender tells me "we dont show boxing anymore. we only show UFC"

    This is only one bar.

But realize that PPV numbers we compete DIRECTLY with UFC. Mainstream coverage we compete directly.

So all you people saying that Toney doesnt represent us, and that Boxing V mma is unreal. Need to get with it.

We were embarassed tonight. We've been losing this Boxing V MMA debate for years.

      for a start...

mma fighters don't accuse each other of drug use to fuuk up their own sport.

they don't have one hundred million different types of titles, they don't have ppl crying over catchweights.

they don't have fighters asking for extra drug test.

they dont have plaster of paris...

all this kind of helps them.

Great. I don't read or watch mainstream news. Good for them.

I'll continue to watch boxing and read about boxing. I don't need USA Today, ESPN, or CNN to tell me what sport to watch.

I'll continue to enjoy boxing for years and years to come while mainstream "analysts" and boxing "fans" tell me my sport is dying or dead.

Let them have it. I love being a fan of a sport that not many people know about. It's kind of like a secret club. When I do talk to people who follow the sport they are educated. You talk to UFC/MMA fans and all they want is pure bloodshed and they're usually white **** skinhead looking putos.

i agree. they are probably going to talk about this on first take, PTI, around the horn, and sportsnation.

The only losers in this debate are those who believe it's an actual debate, and morons like me who respond to it.

this is ****** as hell, an mma fighter is SUPPOSED to win, he has harnessed much better fighting skills in many years of intense training.

As a major boxing fan, I'm not sad. .

I think the mainstream fans are the ones who are butt hurt.

Probably. And those shows are all garbage. Actual sports fans know that.
