Boxing has been a niche sport in the United States for 10 years.

Which coincides and is associated with 2 things

- Greater talent from Europe as result of Fall in Berlin wall
- and UFC emergence.

You can also throw corrpution, bad decisions etc in that.

But UFC has really stolen the market from boxing and every year, we're shrinking.

If Uriah Faber treated Kelly Pavlik the way Couture treated Tony, that would be embarassing. Tonights fight was just one of the best fighters the UFC ever produced beating up an old, fat middleweight. It was about as meaningful as Cotto's win over Micheal Jennings.

Its also embarassing to observe PPV numbers and how UFC has been beating us in the last 3 years in USA

Boxing has been relegated to niche sport, and one day soon will completely disappear from USA as far as a mainstream audience goes.

Boxing is being replaced by UFC and its "boxing fans" like yourself that are allowing that to happen.
