We could have just posted this before the fight because Toney had ZERO chance at winning this fight. He hasn't looked good as a boxer in about 4 years now, and he sucks in MMA obviously as well. Not to mention he can't get in shape.

That's the same impression I get from him, he'll say things like "I love boxing, man I love the sweet science I use be a big Sweet Pea fan....." very generic statements and then he'll bash the crap out of boxing by saying "Nobody watches that sport anymore.......it's dead" I don't see how a true boxing fan can defend a man that says such things

Every Dana White quote about boxing goes something like this:

This is ridiculous. James Toney did not make a mockery of Boxing. The fact that he got the hit kicked outta him is no surprise.

Any boxer, whether they are past their prime or at the top of their game, stepping into a different sport like this would have a similar result. Yes, they COULD always KO someone, but more likely it wouldn't happen. Its a completely different sport with completely different skill set. Anyone who seriously thought Toney was gonna beat him is just damn delusional.

Everything from the UFC announcers labeling Toney as "one of the best boxers ever"

To them billing that co main event as Boxing VS MMA

To the fans booing a boxer and shouting "UFC UFC UFC"

and of coarse there's Toney for talking so much trash and humiliating himself along with boxing for some cash and attention...dude is a sell out, I'm glad I was never a fan

but props to Dana and his company UFC, can't hate on their hustle and the way they market and spin things....and for Couture of coarse for doing what he had to do

Yeah, I'm hella disappointed in Toney for shaming our good name. It was heard watching that as a boxing fan with a bunch of MMA douches around.
