I just think it was silly of Toney to go up against one of the strongest and most experienced wrestlers in UFC. Even experienced mma fighters dont enter the UFC and fight someone like Couture in their first fight. Why fight someone who is so good at neutralising punchers by squashing them against the cage? EVEN WITHIN BOXING FIGHTERS CHOOSE THEIR OPPONENTS WISELY!! If he had had an opponent who was more striking based then it might have been more entertaining. Maybe if Toney trained mma for 5 years then might have been different.

If they really want to show boxing up they should send Couture over to boxing to fight Wladamir or Vitali Klitschko.

If Couture wins I'll happily swtich over and watch UFC and never boxing again.

The Toney fight only confirmed what we already knew, take someone who is good in one sport and put him in another and they'll be wank. Imagine Tiger Woods playing snooker, or Lionel Messi playing Rugby.
