THat's fine, but who should he have fought other than the following:

    Calzaghe
    Hopkins
    Johnson
    Tarver
    (and formerly Adamek)
    Pascal

You said he should have gone after the top guys. Who were they?

Dawson is a decent fighter. Tarver, Johnson and Adamek are decent wins but not half as good as wins over Cloud or Pascal.

What difference does it make? Just stating that people don't want to watch him box if would seem.
What has Cloud done to deserve a shot at Dawson?

He barely got passed a very old Glen Johnson.

      Woopdee Doo.

If I can recall correctly I believe that the Dawson-Pascal fight go in over 1 million viewers.

And you just said Adamek is a DECENT win?

I won't even bother to try and debate with that one...

Never been that big a fan. But what is interesting is the his next fights, it would define who he is. Talent he has lots but mindset is still not there.

If he wins his next fights in dominating fashion, I'll become a nuthugger. . j/k

You just said Dawson should have gone after the best opposition.

Now your saying that he doesn't bring big money with him...

          Hmmm..

Dawson- Pascal numbers had a lot to do with the Pascal following and the Canada V America thing would have helped.

At the end of the day Cloud is one of the top light heavyweights at the moment.

The weight division itself is not very strong at all.

I wish Dawson fought at 168.

Yeah Dawson and every boxer in an ideal world will go for the best opposition.

At the end of the day Dawson doesn't bring enough money to the table to tempt the old guard of Hopkins and Calzaghe.

But YOU said that he should've been going after the best opposition in the division.

He did and he got rejected/ducked.

                You're just contradicting yourself bro.

Hopkins and Calzaghe weren't in my eyes realistic targets in my eyes.

The division isn't that strong to be honest.

The best have peaked and are of a fairly old age.

168, however is a division that is far more talented.

Dawson is a very good boxer but he was rated so highly by some it became ridiculous.

Dawson is veryyyyyyyy good. He should bounce back and will be a top p4p fighter for a long ass time. Everyone has bad nights, everyone loses. Only thing with Chad is he had a bad night and still was close in his fight against one of the best in his divisions. When Mayweather and Pac leave, Chad will be in that 1 slot.

Calzaghe, the super middleweight was the best in the division?

Says a lot about the quality of this division. Just stacked with old men.
