Does Dawson still get overrated on here anyone think?

It seems like some of his fans like Hannibal Barca have totally abandoned him. But the loyal ones like Big Smoke and 2501 are gonna stick by him of course. But the reason I'm making this thread is because there are people who think Hopkins should still fight him after he possibly fights Pascal and wins. Now I'm not saying Hopkins didn't look like a punk when the fight was a little more in demand and they were 1 and 2 and what not. I however for the life of me can't understand why a lot of people to this day still think Dawson would win a fight against Hopkins in dominating fashion and it's not people will say that but they will say Hopkins is scared of him. Now if that happened it's because Hopkins is totally shot which kind of looked that way a little in the Jones fight.

And I'm not only gonna use Hopkins as an example of a guy Dawson would possibly be an underdog against. I don't see him beating Ward at all. He may be able to beat the rest of the guys in the tournament, but I think I'd even slightly maybe favor Kessler (without the injury) over him too. Bute also and I don't even like Bute.

He was not overrated, he is very skilled, don't let the fight with Pascal fool, you he just didn't show up that fight. Hopefully the loss helps him realize he needs to fight with a sense of urgency in the earlier rounds.

Dawson should've been able to adjust to Pascal's style a lot sooner than what he did. It's like he had a corpse in front of him and just fought like he was there to collect a paycheck and hope for a rematch. And I'm not talking about how underrated or overrated he was in the past. I'm talking about now.

That is my point, he has the skills to do it all, therefore he is not overrated. If he put forth an 80% effort vs Pascal, he could have won. His mind just wasn't there.

I just want to see how he rebounds from his loss first.

Pascal isn't that good and Dawson if he was as good as everybody said he was should've beaten him.
