Does Dawson still get overrated on here anyone think?

No, now he's underrated. When he was undefeated he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Now he's a bum for most BS posters.

Yeah, but even now people are making excuses of why he lost. Hanging out with James Prince, not focused, the cut ruined his chance. Blah, blah, blah. I'm not saying he wasn't doing good at the end. But why does he always fight with no passion or fire? It isn't just this fight either. It's both Tarver fights of where he'd just pose and not do nothing. Yeah, he won the Johnson rematch convincingly. But he practically ran the whole state of Connecticut off and put them to shame with the performance because all he did was pot shot and play it safe from the outside and Johnson couldn't cut off the ring on him because of the age of his legs.

You got it all wrong....only Ward would pose a threat to Dawson because of his ugly style.

They said the same thing about Pascal. Dawson has a glass chin and is easily beatable if you're young and have a diverse attack.

Pascal isn't a very good fighter, and Dawson got dominated by him outside of the last few rounds of where Pascal was exhausted. We are talking about a guy who lost to Froch here. If he can't beat Pascal, how's he gonna beat guys like Ward, Kessler without the eye injury like I mentioned before, and even Cloud and Hopkins? Cloud is way better than Pascal could ever dream of being in my opinion even though I wasn't overly impressed with him when he fought Johnson.

Styles make fights. When have you seen Dawson have to come forward and win a fight? We havent, he isnt used to it, Pascal knew that and it showed. This takes nothing away stylistically from Dawson with me, what I did take from that fight though was Dawson's heart isnt big as it needs to be, he didnt show enough hunger, didnt do enough to win rounds and that speaks volumns.

I'm really starting to think you hate the dude. It's one loss. If he doesn't come back with fire and doesn't beat pascals ass, then he's a hype job like ex said.

Pascal fought a great fight, and i'm not a huge Dawson fan either, but I did think that he was a 1 handed fighter for most of that fight, so i can't really say he's overrated.

Pascal had just had shoulder surgery. People use that excuse as well and it's weak. Really weak.
