I think Chad has always done his best to go after the best guys in the division. He wanted fights with Joe and Hopkins. He didn't get them and he fought the other guys who were at the top of the division - Johnson and Tarver. It just also happens that those guys were past their best. All this was after he went after and comprehensively beat a prime undefeated champion in Adamek.

Dawson is a decent fighter. Tarver, Johnson and Adamek are decent wins but not half as good as wins over Cloud or Pascal.

What difference does it make? Just stating that people don't want to watch him box if would seem.

Seemed a little hung up on Calzaghe and Hopkins. Both were at the end of their careers. They had no reason to fight him. He doesn't bring big money with him.
