The test had been done before.

But, I find it kind of odd that a lot of inside people, people who were part of the negotiation team. Are giving the blame slightly to Floyd. Yet his fans and people who were not involved at all still refuses to believe it. Why, I have no idea. In the first negotiations the blame was slightly towards to Pac by people who were involved, now is on Floyd by people who were involved.

Fact is this are the two biggest divas in the sport. It is going to be very hard for this fight to get made. Because, neither would bend on their demands. And, if they do they will create a new demand to try and one up the other. They're not the first divas in boxing and won't be the last.

I am getting tired of both, I blame both. And, I really am wanting for both to kinda retire soon.

STANDARD - if the weight penalty is not discussed, it means they will go on NSAC rules which is the governing body and according to NSAC Rule Book, 25% of the guaranteed purse per lb. Is 10M 25% of 40M which is the guaranteed purse of both fighters?

2. Ring Size - STANDARD NSAC Rule Book

3. Glove sizes - Pac wear his punching glove and Floyd wear his pillow gloves... so both get their own demands.

4. Date - March 13 - Did Floyd team ask this date?

If a fighter/team ask to go beyond the STANDARDS, thats the only thing it can be a DEMAND. If the other want to be on STANDARDS within Governing Bodies, for *****s, its a DEMAND! lol!

Gruster why should floyd allow ARum to use him to market top rank fights? Bob did that **** the 1st time. By keeping quiet and going on vacation the only thing the media can do is talk about the fighters involved. I think floyd is playing this one exactly right.

I mean from a business perspective it is very strategic, not giving
them the time of day BUT it would have been good to expose Arum
because all they did was turn it around on Floyd. I know Floyd
doesn't give a $#!t but still, someone needs to expose Arum and

The 25% is standard, 10 mil per lb is not.

GBP didn't sell JMM out. When the scale hit 146 they wrote up a new contract giving JMM 300k per lb over the 144 limit. JMM took it because if there was no fight he wouldn't get paid. JMM took the floyd fight ONLY for the payday, so it wouldn't make sense for him to not fight because of 2 lbs.

what is 25% of 40M? unless floyd will agree to 75-25 split in favor of Manny then 10M will not be 25% of 20M.

You are partly correct. 25% is the default fee for failing to make the weight (so $10M out of $40M is appropriate) unless a lesser amount is agreed on...and JMM screwed himself by agreeing to less than 25%. The only difference is that it is 25% and not 25% per pound. While a per pound penalty has been done in the past, it was nothing like the $10M per pound magnitude. Nothing wrong with that clause though.
