manny vs tito at 147 would of been a good fight,titos chin wasnt the greatest,with mannys speed,punch power and stamina would of made it very close imo

not taking anything away from manny but cotto was damaged goods after margocheto ***ed him up,also it didnt help the fight took place at 145

i think tito had a very good chin.

it was his stance and balance.

that's why he would get knocked down early in fights.

he was never hurt and once he warmed up , rarely got dropped again.

I wasn't using a triangle theory first all, I was stating once again that styles make fights. But how else are you really supposed to compare fighters? You put them up against people they faced correct? I think that Cotto had tougher fights for longer, and he'd beat guys that Tito couldn't such as Oscar and Winky. The Marg loss is tainted but I could see Cotto losing the fight without the plaster though I doubt it. I know Tito would beat Marg, but I think he would lose to Mosley and possibly Manny. Its hard for me to tell because the more I think about it, I can't really remember anyone Tito fought who had the power/speed combo and that Mosley and Paq had. Essentially if you stood in front of Tito you would lose if you boxed him you'd win. Cotto is I guess the same way, if you pressure him you win but he's got enough power and skill to keep you from imposing his will on you. I don't think Tito is any good at all cutting off the ring and getting passed a jab, thus Cotto is the better fighter.

floyd don't have the kind of legs that he used to at 130. tito can KO with the right hand as well.

footwork and long jabs bother tito. not really combinations.

tito didn't have the best footwork.

mate , i have every tito fight on dvd and i've seen almost every cotto fight since his 140 days.

there's no way cotto beats tito. no way.

as far as resume goes tito is better than cotto as well.
