I agree on Rafeal though. The thing that really made Rafeal look great was Mark Johnson. He destroyes Johnson and everyone said Johnson was washed up but only a few months later Johnson came back and derailed Fernando Montiel showing that he wasn't washed and still world class.

Dont forget about 2 wins over former champion Maurico Pastrana aswell.

Herberto Ruiz was tough as nails and was coming off wins over Claranece Vinson and Chapo Vargas and Rafeal destroyed him with the most wicked uppercut you'll ever see..

I saw him fight Pete Frissina here in Phoenix. After the fight everyone was talking about how could they let such a mismatch happen, but Frissina was rated in the top 10 by Ring, ********* and everyother boxing magazine and web site on the planet. The only reason people looked at it as a mismatch was because how much better Marquez showed he was in the fight blowing him out in 2 like he was nothing.

Ha could ya tell I didn't remember much about that Marquez Norwood fight? I think I did well to even remember who beat him.

I think I tried making the points about the other Raf wins to someone else and they wouldn't have it because "those little guys were no names". Okay well KO's over 2 greats and a slew of other top 10 guys definitely puts him top 5-6 for me.

I was damned proud of 2 Sharp when he beat Montiel. Montiel is a big player at bantam right now. Basically, what he did would be the equivilant of Hopkins being KOed by Taylor in their next fight, and then Hop coming back to beat Winky Wright or some ****.

Raf Marquez is on beast mode for sure though. That uppercut on Ruiz was one of the most insane 1 punch knockouts I've ever seen.

Look how many of them became World Champions after getting beat by him.
He missed fighting all the great fighters like Morales, J.M.Marquez, Barrera, Pacquiao, Freitas, Casamayor, Larios and any one worth mentioning that is great. He beat nice opponents like Carlos Hernandez who is not great and Jesus Chavez who isnt also great. They are nice fighters, not great. Hell he couldve fought an undersized R.Marquez, Larios, or even In Jin Chi who is very good but extremely underated but he didnt. Like I said, he was busy focusing on Gatti level fighters like N'Dou,Corley ,Bruseles

Floyd's resume is beyond question at this point. Your naming featherweights and Jr Featherweights and guys who weren't even in play when Floyd was down at 130lbs as guys Floyd could have fought.

        Floyd fought
        Genaro Hernandez
        Jose Luis Castillo 2x
        Diego Corrales
        Angel Mandfredy

You names Frietas and Cassamayor as guys he coulda fought. Hefought astillo who beat Cassamayor and he blew out Corrales who beat both Frietas and Cassamayor. Hell Frietas was still beating up tomatoe cans in Brazil when Floyd was making his run at 130.

          Read my post more carefully,Jose,

i know all you say if you read my post on the earlier post, once again, when he was at that weight he couldve fought them but he never did, he claimed to finish off his division and moved up always focused on overated Gatti when Morales constantly called Floyd out, why doesnt Floyd fight Judah ,Tsyzu, Hatto,Margarito,Cotto, or anyone. He fought competition as bad as Gatti, Please step up Floyd

By the way, im a Lakers fan who is rooting for Phoenix,a excellent team of very excellent talent since my Lakers have no shot, The Suns are the team of the future. Lucky Phoenix fan,

Also the Pac 10 is the best Conference in C.football

P4P i think Tsyzu would murder Hopkins, i'd probably pick him to beat Mayweather at 140(although thats difficult fight, i wouldnt be suprised if Mayweather beat him).

Before Hatton vs Tszyu, Mayweather vs Gatti and Hopkins vs Taylor this was my P4P top 3

            1)Mayweather
            2)Tszyu
            3)Morales

IMO Average Eastman showed that Hopkins wasnt an elite P4P fighter anymore, Hopkins kicked ass a few years ago but not anymore. Taylors a good fighter but he's not exactly brilliant, he's just effective and that shouldnt be enough to beat the very best.

Trojans and Bears would destroy those teams and the Pac 10 always has excellent teams stepping up out of nowhere, Pac 10 isnt deepest but they are the best

My point was your trying to fault him for not fighting guys who weren't even option at the time. Morales was down at 122 when Floyd was at 130. Frietas was still fighting nobodies.

Ok I can see the case for Cassamayor, but thats it.

He focused on Gatti because he knew thats where the money was. Cotto aint ready yet and guys like Judah and Margarito aint even in his division.

Tszyu just lost and Hatton wont leave Europe.

Yes Phoenix is the team of the futture. People have no idea how good Amare and Joe Johnson are, but theyw ill soon enough.

The Pac-10 is underrated. Also keep a look out for Arizona in the next few years. They hired Stoops and he's bringing in blue chip recruits left and right from Texas. They had a top ten class this year. Its gonna take him at least 2 years to turn that program around though.

Pretty much. Not the deepest but they got the best team hands down.
