I like how people try and pretend Hatton was not the #1 guy at 140. The only person who was remotely close to having a claim was Victor Ortiz when he was on the streak he was on. #1 ? What has he done ? He hardly beat lazcano then he had a little jumping around with princess malignaggi,common son if he was any good at 140 why did he only last 2 rounds? Clottey lasted 12 round and all he did was keep his gloves up.

If hatton was the best @ 140 at the time why didn't we see a fighter that night,he lost before the fight even started.

The hatton who fought floyd was a healthy hatton who didn't know what losing means.

The only person I can say Floyd ducked was Johnston at 135 but at the same time I can understand that move. Now he should have fought Cotto and Margarito but chose not to. That's another story for another day.

The problem is these Floyd fans are using this as a defense mechanism. They are so use to hearing Floyd is a pvssy, ducker etc....that they tried to deflect it on a fighter like Manny.

I personally think it's sad as there shouldn't be any reason to tear another fighters career down to make yourself feel better about your favorite fighter.
