How do you become a star?

Problem is so many are trying to be nice n sweet and business minded like DLH. Now we have no bad boys. Only cartoons at best.

May be but that isn't a star. There is a big difference between star (transcends boxing) ODH, floyd, Tyson, Leonard, Ali (my lifetime) and top 3 p4p boxer Hagler, Manny, Hearns, Bhop.

I'm speaking just in the US because Khan, Hatton, Manny, Trinidad have obviously transcened boxing in their home country.

only time will tell, obviously just being ranked high P4P doesn't make you a star but having that can HELP transcend you into a star if you have star qualities and I think Ward has some star qualities to work with

we will see over the next year or so how he is promoted, having COMPETITION and RIVALS can also help transcend you into a bigger star as well and he is fighting in one of the deepest divisions in boxing today

Andre Ward has "IT" IMO, some may not like his style in the ring but Ward has it all, GREAT Charisma, EXCELLENT Interviewing Skills and a Gold Medals to go with all that

he wins that Super Six Tournament then he is going to be the next Superstar in Boxing IMO, it will also depend on how well Goossen promotes him

ward's hold-n-hit style isn't that nice to watch

I agree, DLH was really something else. He hasn't done anything controversial and yet the biggest name.

1) didn't he **** some chick and that was covered up?
2) his ex-wife complains that dlh doesn't pay child support
3) dlh is accused of being a ****** and cheating on his wife with some ho

First, you have to have the talent, then the skills, but most importantly you have to have IT. Stars have IT in their own unique way.
