I completely disagree. If Andre Ward had it you'd have seen it already. IT has nothing to do with wins and losses.

well that is what the Tournament was for, the Tournament honestly was basically setup to showcase Ward, why do you think he is the only one to have two fights his backyard lol

we will see over the next year or so but I say by the end of 2011 Ward will be Top 3-5 P4P if he wins that Tournament

Ward is a guy boxing should to showcase and should want to promote regardless of what he does in the ring

May be but that isn't a star. There is a big difference between star (transcends boxing) ODH, floyd, Tyson, Leonard, Ali (my lifetime) and top 3 p4p boxer Hagler, Manny, Hearns, Bhop.

I'm speaking just in the US because Khan, Hatton, Manny, Trinidad have obviously transcened boxing in their home country.

Have to say theres not really been a boxing star since DLH...and his rep is nothing compared to Tyson's. Which came off controversy and well the crimes he was part of.

Since DLH there are too many wannabe niceguys in boxing.

You got all these plans for political careers going on it makes you sick.

I agree, DLH was really something else. He hasn't done anything controversial and yet the biggest name.

Problem is so many are trying to be nice n sweet and business minded like DLH. Now we have no bad boys. Only cartoons at best.

                      Boxing needs a SERIOUS badass.
