He beat guys in their primes, even when he was past prime and on the decline. when he was scheduled to face big george foreman a prime george foreman alot of ppl thought ali was crazy. my dad told me about all of this. he said they all thought ali would get knocked out and forced into retirement.

He lost to Frazier in Fraziers prime. Only beat Frazier after Joe was well past it. He beat Frazier during his last 10 fights of his career, a point in time where he only won 5 of his last 10.

Even prime Frazier would have lost to Foreman for those 2 fights, and a past prime Ali beat him the other 2, and the other fight was 10 years after 1971 Fraziers prime, nuff said. 10 years after Ali's prime, Ali was still winning fights against good fighters.
