There's no way around it, it's not really a question. It's a negotiation, and it's not like he was asked to do something that Floyd wouldn't do himself.

There are things you take a stand against and things you don't...proving beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are clean is something you don't take a stand against. End of story. Letting bull****, macho pride cloud your judgement is juvenile.
Its not macho pride, its principle.

Why validate someone who deliberately tried to sabotage your career? Precedent? What precedent? Is he still crusading? No, he's not thinking about boxing anymore. The ruse was so obviously telegraphed that it was impossible to take seriously.

In hindsight its pretty clear he never wanted to fight Pac in the first place.

This is only a PR loss if you took him seriously, which I never did because I know he's a fraud, coward and liar.

He knows Pac will bring out his ever present inner bitch if he gets in the ring with him.

agree completly, you and i have the same boxing mind, we know this...

peds to increase oxygen flow and endurance is definitely unfair and cheating.

however, putting **** in your gloves to harden and enhance the blows beyond human punching capabilities is MURDEROUS AND IMMORAL.

margacheato deserves to be banned for life, if you dont think so go watch

the margacheato and cotto fight and tell me he wasnt using them.

still dont believe me? go watch cottos fights after that fight and tell me

he has not been ruined by the felon margacheato.

Let's be honest, and I know this horse has been beaten to death but - Do you really believe that had the situation been reversed, that Pacs camp was the first one to bring up steroids and were accusing FMJ of them (and no one had ever accused Floyd before) - that he would have just said "Gee whiz, I'm a clean fighter so this is O.K. no problem, I have no problem with testing, let's do it."?? I think not. I think this whole mess started as a knee jerk reaction to an accusation, turned into a big ole cluster **** mess with too many egos, and snowballed downhill from there. I see FMJ reacting the same way TBH. This whole thing is more about pride than anything else IMO. Which sucks because this fight just needs to happen already. If FMJ would have started a crusade against PEDs long before negotiations for this fight were ever considered, and Pac had turned it down, I could agree more with the su****ions.

Fighters accuse fighters of things many times. But it's not about the accusation. This should've never dragged. Seriously. After Manny ran through his laundry list of stipulations and Floyd asked for his one they should've said, "Wait, all you want is a blood test? You're taking it too? No problem, let's wrap this up." Who would've thought drug testing would kill a fight of this magnitude?

Well since Arum works for Pac, there is something very wrong with this statement.

Just confusion. You would think Floyd asked them to recite the multiplication table or something. How can a team so sound become so unglued at the idea of testing?

I agree, this fight should be long over with and on its way to a rematch by now. This whole thing has been blown so out of proportion that it really seems just comical now... "*******/*****" wars with extreme opinions on both sides. The negotiations (or lack of) are way more about EGO (on both sides) then it is about anything else IMO.
