What's crazy is that Pacquiao pays his team money to make him look horrible in the public eye.

If you think Pac's team didn't drop the ball with this whole issue, you're just blind.

I just don't see how this is any of his fault.

If I publicly accused you of being a murderer and tried to defame you in public I would expect nothing but righteous indignation from you.

Which is what Pac had. I would've liked him to be more forceful than he was tbh. I would've never agreed to even 14 days.

Why should you glorify and validate your accuser?

I mean, this shit is basic imo.

That's the only thing I'm upset at Manny for doing. Him and his team should not have even tried to negotiate with these cowards, because it's obvious what there intentions were.

Looking back on things, I really wish he would have said fvkk Floyd and tried to fight Mosley after the Cotto fight.

Because of the topic. The precedent is something that should be set. Taking issue with a way to show that you are clean and setting a standard that someone with the star power of a Floyd and Pac should do for the sport, is a ****** PR move.

There's no way around it, it's not really a question. It's a negotiation, and it's not like he was asked to do something that Floyd wouldn't do himself.

There are things you take a stand against and things you don't...proving beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are clean is something you don't take a stand against. End of story. Letting bull****, macho pride cloud your judgement is juvenile.

Yeah, but if you're also refractory and uncooperative with authorities attempting to divine the true criminal, you're not helping your case. Pacquiao is not at fault but righteous indignation is not always the best response, especially when it has been protracted.

Look at margachito. His cooperation in the beginning is seen as evidence of his innocence.

It should've never been an issue. It should've been, "Ok Floyd so you agree with our terms for ring, gloves and weight penalty? Let's see, and you have this one stip for testing? That's not a problem. March 13th it is."

People on here comparing a ****ing drug test to murder and ****

Do you think Oscar is upset? I doubt it and I'm willing to bet that both are chillin together in a GBP office shooting the **** and working on making more money together.

You guys want desperately to make this more serious than it is, when those involved really don't care.
It was in their 2nd fight..A fight in which many including Myself thought De La Hoya won & got robbed, even Mosley & his father(his trainer at the time) were in shock when they heard the verdict!! & Mosley NEVER denied it & said he was never told that was illegal(whether he knew or not that it was illegal is questionable) That's why Mosley had a law suit against BALCO..But Mosley DIDN'T go into the ring with ILLEGAL WEAPONS like having PLASTER IN HIS GLOVES!!!!

                • Hey so are people really dumb enough to think that their opinion carries more weight and they have a better outlook on the situation than the intended victim? Of course they do! This is NSB! Once again proof that the majority of boxing fans on this board don't have a clue about boxing.

When did Margarito? Last time I checked he was busted before hand and enter the ring against Shane a clean fighter.

Honestly I like Cotto a lot more than I like Margarito as a fighter. I just wish people would quit trying to add extra **** to make it worse than what it actually was (hand wrap scandal).
