But he took issue with drug testing.
Pacquiao has no one to blame but himself for the su****ions. I'm not necessarily saying I think he's dirty, but I certainly think he and his PR team are ******.Comment

It's amazing how brilliantly they've maneuvered his career, how they handle every aspect so well yet completely failed when it came to the testing issue. At some point, people will have to man up and stop attributing it to sheer incompetence.Comment

Trying to use illegal wraps is not as bad as someone using steroids and fighting. But...you fail to acknowledge the profoundly unlikely scenario that he was caught the first and ONLY time he and or his trainer attempted to cheat.Cheesey emotiocons?? Why do you think they put them up here in the same site you post on??
Yes I remember but you made it seem on here that you had respect for Mosley, a "cheater".
.
LOL so you believe Pac is on PEDs??
FYI I do acknowledge that using loaded gloves could be more dangerous than someone on steroids. Trying to use them and actually be on steroids and winning a fight on the other hand is what I have been trying to argue about. But people like you are in a fantasy world where what you think is what really goes on.
If, and ONLY IF we had the clairvoyance to exonerate your hero from knowing and willing wrongdoing, then I would not only favor him being licensed again, but I could see myself having respect for him. That's a big 'if' eh?Comment

Ali is the greatest HW of all times, and the biggest sports icon of the 20th century deal wit it. You don't like him because he took on the man, succeeded and was LOVED for it something no athlete could ever achieve too.Comment

He was a great heavyweight no doubt but as a person he was a coward in my eyes. It's my opinion man. Some people don't look at it like I do.Comment

It is difficult for me to admit he was overrated...but he has heart and I respect his fearlessness. He took on all challengers. I like his professionalism and stoicism.
I would have respected him MORE if he had not cheated on his wife, but what I do respect is that he did not try to dodge the issue when questioned. He owned to it and moved on.Comment

I'm indifferent when it comes to him. I just think he's overrated. Culturally he was important, but as a boxer he was a shade above good.
A lot of the "greatness" attributed to him has more to do with white ******* guilt than actual greatness.
