Is Ortiz Quitting Worse Than Vazquez Quitting?

Its apparent your reading comprehension is lacking a little Rage so I'll break it down for you. I dont think Vazquez is a quitter, but he received criticism for being a quitter so i wanted to see what the public perception was. And as for your quote about his nose being broke I'll show you what happens when fighters continue to take punishment and it means much more than an article about a broken nose.

exactly. put vazquez's nose injury on ortiz and he wouldn't last half a roundWhat were you saying before about making shit threads?
Frankie Espinoza Sr.,
"What he (Dr. Robert Kottler of Beverly Hills) found out is that Israel had 90 percent blockage due to the cartilage in one nostril, and 100 percent on the other. So you only have an overall 10 percent breathing capacity. With that sort of limited breathing capacity, he said, 'I don't know how Israel made it to the seventh round.'
All that we have to do, he said, is to clear out the cartilage, and he can go back in six months and fight again. He said, 'Because God gave you a nose to breath with, and not with your mouth, and I don't know how he was able to breath that way for so long.'"
Vazquez nose was broken in the 2nd, BTW. He doesn't in any way deserve to be mentioned in a thread about quitters.

That's my favorite boxer all-time (well, he and Pryor pass it around), I donate to his Foundation, I don't need to be shown what happened to him...how is that germane to the severity of Vazquez' broken nose? (look at the very irregular swelling up between his eyes at the top of his nose if you want a hint at the unusual extremity of the injury)Its apparent your reading comprehension is lacking a little Rage so I'll break it down for you. I'd be surprised if you couldn't work out for yourself which retirement "the public" (or the boxingscene public) would deem worse.
I don't care. Call me belligerent on this. Vazquez doesn't belong in any thread with the word "quit".Comment

Read the link genius. I made this thread in response to Vazquez being called a quitter not to call him one myself. Also if you'd read the comments in this thread Vazquez gets a pass more from his other fights where hes shown heart not because of his broken nose so maybe your assumptions on what the public feels should be reevaluated. Since GMan is your favorite how can you say quitting over a broken nose is more acceptable than quitting to avoid damage like GMan took? That's my favorite boxer all-time (well, he and Pryor pass it around), I donate to his Foundation, I don't need to be shown what happened to him...how is that germane to the severity of Vazquez' broken nose? ortiz doesnt even remember sayin that post fight interview. when he got back to the locker room he thought he had been ko'd in the first round so the other 4 rounds he fought, he was on auto pilot. so he actually did show heart in this fight.Comment
