      hmm

The cards Roy held was being the recognized champ. Also, the judging and officiating in Germany has been notoriously horrible. To expect Jones to go there to fight DM is laughable. The USA is also the bigger stage.

Jones drew more than flies, in fact, he was a decent although not "great" draw. Most of his fughts did very well gate wise, especially depending upon the venue. Roy could fight at a place like Portland where there is hardly any ever boxing and sell out a 14,500 seat building. That's respectable.

DM could stay in Germany and feel comfy all he wanted, and he did. Good for him but what good has that done for his career?

        hmm

And don't even try to bull**** me about lineage. Roy was seen by Ring Mag, by his peers, colleagues, and critics, to be the lightheavyweight champion.

Whats laughable is Roy Jones staying home fighting guys like Richard Frazier instead.

Both Roy and DM did the same exact thing they stayed on there side of the pond throwing stones instead of making the fight happen. Make no mistake if Roy wanted it he coulda had it.

Calling Roy Jones Jr's drawing power "decent" is all you need to know. Wow he was a decent draw im sooo impressed.

Put simply yes - in their prime Jones would have made short work of Charles, Spinks and Moore. RJJ of the last three years fine not in the same league as those guys.... I think everybody is quick to forget just how good RJJ was - at his best he was simply breathtaking - I'm not sure we have seen a more acomplished fighter in the last 15-20 years.

By no means was that done "instead", so you're wrong.

Also, no one cares if you are impressed. Have what opinion you like. Jones didn't go to Germany and he shouldn't have. Period.

I still don't get the arguement. RJJ should have gone to Germany? Tiger should've came to America. They're both ******* who should've gone to Japan and fought or some ****. You can't call one out while letting the others go, and attempting to do so only makes you look foolish.

I 99% agree. Neither is a ***** though. I can understand if DM was afraid or if RJJ didn't want to fight in notoriously dirty German rings, so hey...simply put though, DM called out Roy but never tried to fight anywhere but Deutschland.
