To be in the pound for pound list do you have to fight in a particular style. It seems maybe by coincidence that a certain style fighter gets rated higher pound for pound merely because of the way they fight and less for accomplishment.Originally posted by THE TRUTHRoy Jones Jr. is one of the best pound 4 pound fighters of all time. Top 10 or top 20.Comment

Ha ha ha so what if Griffin owned Toney, he is not on the same breath. Griffin was a never was fighter idiot. Toney was not at his worst and not on his best either. Jones just schooled him, a one side affair that's why he was at his worst. Roy Jones did what exactly a great fighters do, he made Toney pay for his poor preparation.Comment

What are you talking about. Toney was dehydrated as f***k vs Jones. And right around the time he lost to Jones is when he had the Griffin losses and I believe a loss also to Drake Thadzi, another fighter Michalczewski beat. That was the low point in Toney's career.Originally posted by SliqueJabHa ha ha so what if Griffin owned Toney, he is not on the same breath. Griffin was a never was fighter idiot. Sure he might have been dehydrated trying to lose all those pound but he did not postpone it either. He created his mess and he paid for it. He went ahead thinking he could win and next thing you know Jones schooled him. I think Jones would have won it regardless with his quickness and reflexes.
Jones did that against Tarver in the first fight and still won it.Comment

Your trying say it such a big accomplishment in Jones's career that he beat Toney at that point in his career. What I am telling you is that is not. Griffin and Thadzi also beat him at this stage of his career (both are decent fighters but not champs). Toney went into somewhat obscurity after this stage. He has only recently revitalized his career. With the very impressive wins over Jirov, and Then Holyfield. And the recent fight with Ruiz.Originally posted by SliqueJabSure he might have been dehydrated trying to lose all those pound but he did not postpone it either. Well what the hell, Toney was undefeated coming into that fight. Most people think he's gonna whoop Roy Jones. In fact he had weight problems before , he's been walking around 200 between each fight and he still beating people. He just thrown that excuses after Roy Jones schooled him because afterall, it's a very good excuse. Toney went into obscurity because he did not get the rematch.
The point was Roy Jones was Ring Magazine place him on top 80 boxers and top 100 greatest punchers while Dariusz did not make the cut and will never be. The end had justified the means, Roy Jones may or may not be the best light heavyweight of all time but Dariusz will never be. Never ever be. So please idiot stop retrieving him from obscurity.Comment

WBC Light Heavyweight Title
IBF Light Heavyweight Title
WBA Light Heavyweight Title
IBO Light Heavyweight Title
WBF Light Heavyweight Title
IBA Light Heavyweight Title
NBA Light Heavyweight Title
Daruisz held just the WBO title
I know their just "alphabet titles" but still Jones beat a lot more champions and contenders that DaruiszComment
